As was to be expected, Dragon Models used the Tokyo Trade Show to announce their plans for future 1/35th scale AFV kits.
Three new releases have been announced and, coming off DML's website is a fourth. However, one of these releases will be made under the Cyber-Hobby brand name and will only be available mail order.

A Word About the Images: All the images were supplied to us directly from DML and, apart from seperating out the most 'pertinent' images, no futher enhancement has been done to them. These are, in other words, company supplied images - the final models may vary from these.

DRA6392 - German sFH 18 Howitzer with Limber Second in only a few weeks. Hopefully this will encourage the development of some prime-movers...

DRA6439 - Heuschrecke IVB 'Grasshopper' - As can be seen from the box-art, this will be released under the Cyber-Hobby label.

6383 - Tiger I (late Production) with Zimmerit

Finally, a very welcome release in the form of:

DRA6418 - T34/76 (Model 1941) with CAST Turret

You can envisage what the "Premium Edition" of the SPH Hummeln will look like. Kudos to DML!

it was also totally from left-field for DRAGON to do yet another Tiger!

Shame that the Tiger lacks a metal barrel, but otherwise it looks great. I know there are always too many Tiger kits, but a Tiger WITH zimmerit is a legitimate expansion of the range - no one else has done one! More excited by the sFH-18. Interesting to see how it will compare to the Trumpeter offering. Just need some new vehicle to tow it!

I wonder how long it will take a manufacturer to make a diorama base for the turret of the grasshopper. The Howitzer looks a good choice of subject.

I recall seeing the turret of the Heuschrecke kit being detachable with a base being included in the box already. And so it is: LINK

If anyone would like reference photos of the field piece, there is one on display where I work. Mind you, she is in rough shape from decades of neglect. I too am looking forward to getting this one. Gator
