Great news! having checked the pictures I was delighted that AFV Club deleted the cover to the hydraulic reservior on the turret top in the right corner. This cover you won't find on the M108, due to the fact, that the M108 doesn't have a hydraulic turret system!! Grat! That's what I expected from AFV Club!

The hairline joint between the two halves of the door is nearly invisible but the hinges on both sides are reasonably visible. They could be difficult to see on the small screen of a mobile phone but zooming/enlarging the image on the screen would show the hinges. One other thing though: Maybe I am imagining things but I get the impression that the track pads are too thick. / Robin

I would agree they appear to be a little thick maybe it is “fresh” track, hot out of the oven with no mileage on it. If they are plastic shouldn’t be hard to fix the top run, the bottom can be hidden. If rubber, not sure it will as easy to fix.

Taking into consideration AFV Club's habit of putting rubber tracks in all their kits I think we have high chances these are the same rubber tracks that are included with their M109 kits.

Looks quite nice from what I see. I'm hoping they kept all the features the M-109s have-like movable hatches,doors,travel lock,etc.

Personally I'm quite happy that they're offering the kit, and yes aftermarket tracks would be a nice option that I'd look into.
