At 75 Euros (not including shipping), it's not a great value for money. There are no masks for ambush camo, not dot camo, just a lot of product re-packaged into a one-stop-shopping method for a model plunging into late war camo. Maybe if there was more about the book included, I might be more enthusiastic.

A solution in a box, to a problem I don't have... I'd be curious to know just exactly how many of these things sell?

Might be a good idea for the new comers to the hobby.... as for myself it’s tempting especially with all the different pigments and such. I don’t have those and this is probably a way to acquire them at once. Curious about the book and maybe if they’d do this for different subjects as well!

Tell you the truth, there are people who never have done late war German, or who never tried Mig products and are looking for everything in one box so they can jump in with everything they need. It'd be useful for me if I wanted to finally give up my ancient 40 year old habits and finally enter the 21st century.

I wouldn't buy it because half of those products of one brand or the other I have already, but for a novice or someone who has never done certain subjects with certain techniques I find it a good idea, especially with the sbs book

I may answer or comment some of your replies... Regarding the cost, considering the book can be 10 euros and you get 21 products, the average cost is 3,09 euros per item, which seems reasonable to me. Note that you should be able to use them for, I guess, at least 3-4 kits so if you like the subject, it is not that bad. As for other subjects, yes, they have already issued one for WWII American vehicles in Europe and another one for IDF vehicles. As for usefulness, personally it has happened often to me that trying to replicate the whole process in a book or magazine, I miss several of the products used so I replace them with what I have at hand -and the result is not the same. So I find it interesting as you just have to follow the steps with the product provided. Of course I do not expect to achieve the same level of finesse that the author gets in the book, but I will know for sure it is not because of the products used

Hello, All! Might be a great thing for quite a few people. As for myself, those of you who are at least a tiny bit familiar with my rantings and ravings will know that I always mix my own colors for the "job at hand", so no special "sets" for me, thank you... Steve mentioned "40-year-old habits"; my habits go back at least, that far... I can spend the money buying several(?)* kits on Ebay, instead... * That depends on how "cheap" said kits are...

Well, they are convenient when packaged this way, I'll give you that. And they represent a great addition to the hobby. But... unfortunately it is still far cheaper for me to pick and choose what I need as I need it. Less of a case of secondary-importance colours sitting around growing old. I seem to remember getting these at a couple of hobby stores in the Edmonton area for slightly better. And I already got the book. Useful.
