Very nice. I'm surprised it took them this long to come out with it. The original M38A1 is a great kit. This one looks even better. Also, this one will allow you to build a civilian CJ5 as well.

Hi, This is great news. Can't wait. I am surprised that it's taken so long to release this version. Hopefully they will release a some IDF halftrack, with IDF mods and not just sand paint and rucksacks like Dragon's kit. Regards jason

Accurate Armour do conversion sets for both which I have & they are nice but now will be far easier with these 2 new kits coming. Funnily enough I was thinking about dragging mine out of the stash to start on the other day.

Whats great is that you can make one of these going back to the 50s and the Suez conflict, all the way up to their use in 1982 during operation peace for Galilee in southern Lebanon

Nicely updated; having one next to a Merkava with soldiers consulting might be nice...

Not sure they were still around in 1982.

Gunships were out of service by 1982, but the basic one and even some TOW-equipped ones were certainly used.
