Really dig that Rifleman. Is there anything particular that makes Canadian? That Soviet certainly is cool as well - Gino Poppe will be doing his nut for this one! Rudi

I don't know Alan who stocks NMW this side of the Arlantic, I know it's cheaper for me to buy them from Firestorm Models in Australia than from the UK or US. Maybe try AFV modeler or Netmerchants? Nothing in the figures that I can see. Canadian Battledress was a greener shade than British Battledress. With a head swap the officer would make a nice tanker since he's not wearing the webbing cross straps.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the pleated breast pockets (visible on officer) and the concealed buttons down the front and on the pockets. GB

of the selection I like most the WW1Russian. It's such an original subject and so well made and I cannot think of any other manufacturer who makes them in 1/35. The problem would be making a credible diorama for such a figure given the very strong WW2 bias in this scale.

Dilip, this figure is 75mm which would make it even more difficult to find other figs for a diorama.

But it will make for a terrific stand-alone for the figure modellers

Thanks Guys Ron Volstad is the reason for NWM producing these figures. I came across some early 1970's original artwork that Ron had done for an old issue of military modeler(he was never paid for the art work) so I asked my good pal Ron if he minded if I used the art work too create a series of figure, Ron's response was, Oh Ay! I would be happy to help with the research, so Ron made a massive list of corrections that needed too be made to the Canadians in the art work in order for them to become correct 1/35th scale figures. Thank you Ron, Hell I will convert then into Israelis. -Mrosko-

Oh...my...gawd, I can't wait! As an aside, I love the Caribbean Command (or whatever the name is these days) patch you use for your logo. VERY classy! Cordially, Dennis
