Hey! It ISN'T another Stryker Variant!
Trumpeter's U.S. Importer, Stevens International, have just sent us details of a release from Trumpeter which will be very different from their recent releases:

216 - German WR360 C12 Locomotive

The German Wehrmacht commissioned the production of some small “shunter” locomotives which could be used to position railway guns and was a component of the artillery units. For movement or heavy artillery on railcars often the WR360’s were used in pairs for extra power. 129 of these locomotives were built between 1926 and 1941, when manufacturing ceased. Many WR360’s were placed into civilian service after the war. Kit consists of 258 parts on 9 sprues, 5 sections of plastic track roadbed (about 20" total) and a photo-etched grill. Markings are for Deutsche Reichsbahn, 1938. Completed kit measures about 10" long.

Scheduled for release in February 2009 with an initial RRP of $84.95. This is, at the moment, all we have - an image of the boxart, however I think we may be able to rectify that in the coming weeks...

Our thanks to Stevens International for the update!

At one of the Toy Shows in Europe earlyer this year. Trumpeter showed some mock-up armoured train cars. I just wish they would bring them out soon. DML needs to rerelease their rooling stock as well. As far as the track, Trumpeter's and DML's track is the same wight. I have ussed both together, no problum.....

Wow! Looks wonderful, I like this German machinery, it`s so ugly, so look beautiful! Will it be correct to attach Panzerjagerwagen to it?

Hi I like that could do a lot more with that in a diorama than the larger steam offering. shunting in a goods yard with troops waiting to load up oh the idea's are starting to work. very nice keep it up trumpeter.
