Pleas Mr. Tamiya (Jr) can we have some of these great 1/48th releases in 1/35? James

Hi Jim, Thanks for sharing this great news! I've already built the Tilly from Accurate Armor but of course there is still some place for a Tamiya version in my collection. Some years ago I've purchased resin kits of a Kurogane, a japanes side car, several Opel trucks, a japanese fuel truck, a Jeep etc... now, two or three years later, they are all (or will be) available in 1/48 scale in injected plastic! I think I won't buy resin kits anymore. Jean-Luc

Someone of the Quarter-Scale Forum on Missing Lynx came up with an interesting thought the other day, that perhaps Tamiya was alternating - One AFV release and then one Airfield release. I couldn't agree more abou the Fuel Bowsers and Ambulances though - wheel 'em out!

I concur 100%- I think they are passing up a great opportunity and passing up profits. Even simply paragraphing up these simplier, less detailed, and few part kits would be welcomed by many soft skin modelers. And I'm sure quite a few resin guys would jump on the band wagon with update and detail sets to fatten their wallets also. (Hell they're doing it to the 48th scale ones so why not 35th?.)

Yes it is nice to a Tilly in 1/48th and if the rumors of a K2 ambulance in 1/48 & 1/35 from another company in plastic comes to light it will be great. More softskins are needed in both scales from all countries interesting to see what other modellers think.
