Markings I can deal with, at least the plastic looks good. Like you said the Wegman launchers are included on the suspension sprues, so I would imagine they'll be in the kit. This one looks to be a nice addition to add to the stash. Mike

Looks good. Opportunities for the modeller who wants to spend some extra on it by drilling out all the little holes on the stand off armour (or buy some P-E ;-) ) One in resin, one Spanish and one Italian. Hoping for the long hull version .. Four on the shelf waiting for the time to come when there is 15 days in a week .... One little question about the images though. I think I know why all the images have Armorama smack bang in the middle but it does give me the impression that Armorama holds the copyright and I assume that this is not the case. If I might just suggest an improvement: Change it to say "Copyright by , published by Armorama" Use the sign for Copyright to reduce the size if needed. / Robin

Robin, thanks for the suggestion and, if you bear with me, i'll try to explain.. When I get round to doing a new template, that's a good model you've suggested - thanks! The reason the Watermarks are so 'intrusive' is (partly) because the owner of another site is having a bit of a problem with his (watermarked) images popping up on other sites, so, with images like this i've established a policy of watermarking ALL manufacturer-supplied images, so, unless the less-scrupulous don't mind being brazen about it, they'll be instantly identifiable. As the images are still technically those of Trumpeter, we want to protect the fact they were provided to THIS site...

Robin, what little holes are you talking about? If you are referring to the texture on the stand off armor, then that is just what it is, there are no actual holes, and Trumpeter has done a very nice job of portraying this in their kit. Mike

Both Galix smoke launchers and Wegman launchers include the KIT. HOLES?

There are two short versions: Series 1 with Wegmann launchers, series 2 with Galix launchers. Series 3 is the long version with Galix launchers. Thomas

I am sure the turrets are interchangable. The Corazzati book is an excellent reference on the "short" Centauros. The turrets of Series 1 have no stand- off armour shields and lack the attachment points for them on the turrets and Wegmann launchers installed. Correction: 100 vehicles were produced, 20 of them have the mountings for stand-off armour. The Series 2 have Stand- Off armour installed and Galix launchers. The long version has the same features on the turret as Series 2. The most distinguishable feature to find out if the hull is Series 1 or 2 two is the exhaust shield, which has a different shape on Series 1. The exhaust shields on Series 2 and 3 are the same. PMM have the Italien version listed as a Jan release. And I've found a German online store with a Feb release date...and it's about 8Euro more than the Spanish one, or 33% Cheers, Sean
