This, according to my calculations, is the THIRD Sd.Kfz 222 to be announced. This time, from Hobby Boss
Hobby Boss have been kind enough to send us initial photos of the WIP of their forthcoming Sd.Kfz 222 in 1/35th scale.

I've labeled this 'Part 1' as the areas covered are the sub-frame and the interior. So, it's another 222 - what will make this one different? Well, it seems that the company is going for FULL internal detail and, in an unusual move, including the engine.

Cool! When compared to the Tristar one, I do see a couple of advantages on the HB one including the PE machine gun ammunition box stowage racks and the mesh firewall divider. I wonder if this one will include the ammo boxes to put in those racks? Chris "toadman" Hughes Toadman's Tank Pictures
