Firstly, by way of explanation, the Kamizukuri range of Update sets are NOT the more conventional PE Brass. In fact, they are constructed with a high-density cardboard. Curious? read on...

Very creative! For those who are considering the grille for the Dodge 3/4 ton WC -51/52, one should know that what's in the kit is correct for the later production variant (as depicted in the rest of the kit). This new set would allow the modeller to backdate it to an earlier configuration (but that would entail other changes as well).

These are VERY good for the price, and I recommend them highly (see my review of the Sd.Kfz.7/1 slat "mesh" here, and the Sd.Kfz.7/2 mesh here). A review of the Sd.Kfz.222 rear grill behind the "turret" will be forthcoming from another reviewer. Thanks to Tasca for the sets. Be sure to let them know you read about it here if you order from them.

I have the Sdkfz 7 7/1 and 7/2 sets for the DML 20mm quad and 3.7cm flak units having seen the reviews on this site. When I got them however I was amazed at how small the (minute) holes are and was wondering if even with very thin airbrushed paint it would clog the holes? It looks to be a super product in 'raw' form as asembled with bare plastic kit parts and in the packaging but just wondered how it performs (especially the mesh-type products) under an actual coat of primer or paint? Anyone sprayed them yet? Gary
