I dont see why the price matters anyway? Its going to be cheaper than AA, thats i'll i'd worry about. Think logically, HB's Newer leo's and pershings are in the £25.00 GBP price region, those PLA IFV's were around £18.00, so I imagine this will be somewhere in between. Of course outside the UK is a different matter, ive heard HB stuff is pricey in the states.

Their Sdkfz 222 with full interior and engine detail sells for around $25 in HK, so I doubt they would price the Landrovers higher than that... at least not by much. Hisham

With this announcement, Hobby Boss has certainly made a lot of people very happy. I wonder how many versions will be released? The three most desired Landies seem to be, the British Army "Snatch" version used in Afghanistan, the US Army Rangers version, and the Australian one used in Vietnam. Obviously, they're going to sell a lot of these.

After years of waiting and begging, I am glad to see an injected kit(or will it be kits?) of a modern Land Rover being released by a major kit producer. I have purchased any Land Rover I can find in any scale just to bide my time, but am absolutely thrilled to have them showing up in 1/35 scale. From what I can tell from the photos, it looks like the Wolf version in the hardtop GS model, and a WMIK version with a .50, Milan missile, or 40mm grenade launcher. It appears as if the different front fenders are to make FFR versions or maybe try and get away with making it appear as a 110 version (from the look of the side openings in the fenders)--not exactly the same as a TUM XD. The dash also indicates a RH drive (British) version, but maybe we might get an option with the final kit. I also thought I saw a body with the RSOV version, which is of particular interest to us "Yanks". My problem is, what do I do with the 14 Accurate Armour LR kits I have unbuilt in the closet? (They are still beautiful kits and I hope I can build them some day). Also, I hope Hobby Boss has got the licensing problems with Land Rover ironed out, as I understand they (LR) are very touchy about their trademarks being used without permission. Another problem--why is Hobby Boss not using a pre-assembled lower frame? This is one of the biggest problems with the AA kits--get the frame crooked and it's curtains,mate. Oh well. as others have stated, I'll get my money ready and be glad they are finally here!

hi all i must say say i love this kit but why did they not add the milan set in the box?? so i hope they will make a new one with the milan and the 3 milans on each side in a rack. dave

Em, yes, it's been out for months, several builds have been posted here and the AM companies have released a stack of update sets for it.... It's safe to say that it's EXTREMELY available
