Dragon Models have announced the pending release of a Japanese Type 2 (Ka-Mi) amphibious tank.
DML have announced this release as being "The first ever Japanese tank series item designed by Japanese". The kit is labelled as making use of the same technology as was used to produce DML's kits of Panzer III and IV kits, by which it is presumed that they are referring to slide moulding.
The release information also states that this tank is being released without flotation pontoons.Given the lack of Pacific and SE Asian conflict tanks to date, I am sure that this release will be eagerly anticipated by many.
