About Jim Starkweather (staff_Jim)
FROM: NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STATES

I started building models in 1971 when I was 6. My first model was a 1/32 P-40 Warhawk. Revell I believe. From there I moved onto the standard cars, Apollo spacecraft, and other kid orientated kits. I don't know what got me started on Armor. I must have seen a Monogram tank kit one day and said "Mom...

Thanks! Could it be possible to have a "Video review" tag on the forum post so that we know wether it's an old fashioned review or a video one?

Err... yes. Is that so you can seek them out more easily or avoid them? Cheers, Jim

I have a comprehensive photo walk-around here on Armorama of a Gama Goat Ambulance.

It will be definitly a nice addition to my Grenada models. When you leave off the heater, you can build an ordinary transporter. A shame that it did have some stretchers/litters, since it is an ambulance truck. BTW the scene of the boxart was seen on Salinas Airport in Grenada toward the end of the "war", when the "Goats" transported Cuban wounded soldiers to the waiting C-141 Starlifter planes.

Jim, I appreciate the effort to make the video, but I find that I'd rather read everything in a few seconds rather than take the several minutes to watch a video. So, for me, I usually don't watch reviews posted on youtube. Sorry, this is just me I did appreciate the pics of the sprues and instructions I was hoping that Tamiya might include the later rounded engine covers with the upward slanting grab bars. Glad to see the added jerry can. Some of the US Army Goats that I took pictures in Hawaii had the bumper codes on the narrow narrow bumper. Wish Tamiya had put small codes in white and black. Thank you for you effort. Grant
