Yeah, compared to your Grille II there must be a small difference in tonnage and road width
I have it sitting next to my recently completed Sherman, and it is really, small compared to that. I think I might need to take a picture of it sitting next to the Grille II. Thank You Jesper for putting that thought in my head.

Hello, here is my Blitzkrieg entry:
1:35 Scale. French Renault UE (Mirage hobby) and German German Gebirgsjägers (DML).
Cheers
Christer
I liked your dio. The small size, the action portrayed, and the title are great I thought about joining this GB earlier, but other things happened and was unable to. There are a lot of very good works here.

Some great work being done in this campaign! Progress has been extremely slow for me, I tried a few different things which had me going one step forward, two steps back! My 38(t) to date, I will have this done by the finish date (thankfully it ends in October!). Cheers all.

James,
Very nice so far! I've always liked the the look of rear upper hull of 38(t).
My progress almost stopped now... I don't have enough time to seat and work for more than 15-40 minutes at a time and I really hate to work this way. I prefere to sit down, start working, stand up after 4-5 hours... progress is visible and I have a feeling of job weel done... after 15 minutes two small details are made, half is painted....
I hope I'll be able to present finished diorama this week.
Andrzej

Nice work James! I'm going to have to do another 38(t) in gray one of these days, I really like the way it looks.
I'm slowly but surely slogging through the cleanup of the wheels on my Char B1 bis. The wheels were attached to the sprue on the thin edge of the rim, so the work is a bit delicate and tedious.....

hello Scott,
when i did my Char B bis,i did not worry about getting the wheels done real well.they are mostly hidden be the skirtting and the tracks, and i also glued them into place.unless your are going to show the tank damaged, they get painted and you can't see them that well.
just my 2 cents, can't wait to see the photo updates.
cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,
your Char B bis is the french or the german version ?
I am still working on the Panzer II D, still don't know about the sdkfz. 11 HTrack since i wanted it to tow some artillery (10,5 howitzer or a pak 40, i still don't know...time and kit availability).
Will post my pics soon !
Can't wait to see your Bis tank !
Take care!

Hello all and thanks for comments
Bruce - now I work on Trumpeter's Hotchkiss H35/H38 in Polish service(1939).
Jesper - I plan making diorama and I have two ideas(about Polish Campaign): diorama will present Polish - Soviet fights or Polish - German of course...
Robert - only one prototype has emerged in 1939. War has made impossible production. Tank has been remade from Polish twin-turret Vickers E tanks. New turret has been added. Tank was armed with excellent Polish 20mm automatic cannon(FK-A wz.38) and was equipped with big coverage radio station. Crew counted three persons.

hello John,
the yellow cross over white pattern, was used by the Germans for the Poland campaign.i know that the 2nd and 4th Panzer Divisions used them,i am not sure if other divisions used them.but i would think that all of the Panzer Divisions would have used them.
the reason they were not used after Poland was that they were an easy area to aim at,and the Germans lost some tanks that were hit right on the yellow cross.
hope this helps.
cheers,
Bruce

Hello John
During campaign in Poland, main tactical markings of German tanks and armoured cars was white cross. Some tanks had yellow crosses also. During campaign, on some tanks, Germans covered white crosses by yellow or panzergrau paint. This way, they emerged sometimes yellow crosses with white borders. Majority of tanks had white crosses obscured by mud. There was result, that white crosses were perfectly visible for well trained crews of Polish AT guns or other Polish weapons.
But here, one of thousand proofs:

Another leader gone.....
Seems to happen quite a lot with campaigns.....
Anyway, my builds have hit a precarious moment in their way to completion. It is time to get them painted and that is when I allways seem to loose a bit of interest. Guess I'm more of a builder then a painter...
I am also working on the bases, but they're not working out the way I want them too. The PzKfw 35(t) will be set in a field of fresh, long grass or corn and the Hotchkiss & gun on a cobblestone road with suitable roadside. Pictures will be added as soon as I am satisfied with the results.
