Well, like I promissed here are some pics.
I am doing these kits traight out of the box, except for the tanker on the Skoda. That one's from the sparesbox. The Skoda is from CMK and the
The Skoda will be dark grey overall finish with a swastika on the enginedeck, placed in the middle of a cornfield.
Title:"Ja, wo sin'se denn, die Franzosen??" (Where are those French?)
Title: "Les Boches s'approches!!" (The Krauts are coming!)
The Hotchkiss H35 (not the R35 as I mentioned earlier ) and the 25mm AT-gun will be placed at the edge of a cobblestone raod with the gun being nest to in the grass, hiding behind a bush.

Ron - I like Renault R 35 but Hotchkiss H 35 there is my dream
I would like to make it in Polish service from Polish Campaign 1939...
But unfortunately, practically, it is not available - particularly R 35...only Trumpeter's 35/38(H) and Heller's German version of H 35 are available.
Perhaps, in this year else, I make Trumpeter's 35/38(H) kit.
I wait for final, excellent effect!

Thanks for all the comments on my Sd. Kfx. 223. I really appreciate it, guys.
Ron, very good idea for your diorama.
The layout is fine of both dioramas, but the French diorama might be improved even further by just "angeling" the scene a bit more so more of the side of the tank and AT Gun crew can be seen as well as the front. However, that is a matter of taste.
Looking forward to see more

hello John,
the vehicles are out for this campaign.they were used my the german army starting June 1941 according to my info. But some else could show them being used before the stop date.if they do ,then they are allowered.maybe you could do some research to show when they started in use by the german army.
sorry, but that is the best i can say for now.
cheers,
Bruce

Ive been really busy just lately and have hardly had the chance to do anything at all. I have managed to partially complete a couple of crew members. The heads are waiting until I have practiced a little more on face painting. The tank finally has an identity now with the decals. Any glossy appearance on the decals will be removed when the tank is weather and finished.
Ive also bought some German infantry figures from Preister Models. At first glance they seem ok but we'll see how they come along.
There are some fantastic looking models taking shape in this campaign. I hope I won't let the side down.
Finally has an identity
Home made box didn’t come out too bad after all. First ever attempt at that kind of thing.
Any tips and comments are more than welcome. Don't be too harsh

hello John,
the Panzer II D was made between 1938 to 1939,so that tank is allowed accordingly to the time line.

hello John,
found some further info for you:
the sdkfz 7 started production in 1937,so it is good for this campaign.
the sdkfz 11/3 was introduced in 1937,so it is good for this campaign.
sorry it took so long to get you the info.

Construction will finish on my 38(t) this weekend, still trying to get the glue off my fingers from installing the @#$*& tracks. I'll have pictures probably tomorrow. I'll start the crew next before painting the tank.

hello Scott,
to get glue off of fingers, use a emery board.you can get them anywhere.
wait for the glue to dry and just go accross your fingers,it will take it right off .then wash up.
thanks for the update.
cheers,
Bruce

LOL. Thanks Bruce, I was somewhat joking, but you are right about sand paper to get glue off the fingers.
Anyway, here it is. The main construction is finished along with details. I added nuts & bolts to the fender supports and on the various items that needed to be secured. Still a little more to do, I'll finish the finale details after the crew is built.
I really need a brass turned gun barrel; if anyone can help I’ll be forever grateful.
As for the crew, to answer a question from awhile back, they will be heavily converted/scratch built. My main interest is in figures and they will tell a story with the tank as the base.
