Hello,
Bruce, in my opinion, this campaign is one of the best and most curious on Armorama
But it start only
Andrzej - in fact, it is possible to find great deal photos on www.odkrywca.pl and probably, doesn't have great base of photo from Polish Campaign. Sometimes too, it is possible to find something on e-bay. Anyway, many photos on www.odkrywca.pl dates from there exactly.
I wait with impatience for your tomorrow presentation
Cheers
Adam

Hi!
A lot of nice stuff - nice to see Joe's model done and James' and HARV's WIP.
I had some time today again to work with figures, TK-3 and diorama, so here's the effect:
Number one: figures (from left side: Włodzimierz, Herman, Jurgen and Hans).
Number two: Soldat's equipments (it seems it is a little bit overscaled according to rest of the figure...)
And now, Number three: THE LARCH
Sorry I couldn't resist (Monty Pythons fan will have fun and the rest will forgive (I hope)):D.
Number four: TK-3 with finished camo scheme - now it's time for weathering:
Number five: Diorama base
More coming soon (I hope)
Andrzej

Adam,
I'm glad you like that. Answering your questions - yes, Jurgen has blue eyes, blond hair and over 180cm of heigh. He will join LSSAH later this war. Other guys will not survive next 30 minutes - Władek looks so pissed off, that I think he's going to defeat them singlehanded and run away - he'll go to England and join Cichociemni later this war.

What has met fate of their?
Really have been crossed they by Polish tanks? Maybe by my 7TP which I try complete in June?
No...this fate is reserved for my panzer grenadiers(Otto, Ludwig and Siegfried who is in painting presently)

Ok, here is what I've been up to, just filling up the interior. I follow the rule of close enough not exact copy. There will be a crew so once it's all put together you really won't see much. The squares on the mat are 1".

Hello,
Andrzej - Everything that begin looking increasingly better
Small question - I understand, that diorama it will present situation from Polish Campaign?I mean camouflage your TK-3...and what do you think about model kits from RPM?They need huge work(particularly it on Vickers base) but effects can be amazing!
Additional RPM produces rare vehicles and has low prices.
In my opinion, these model kits are assigned for expert modelers just as models, for example from Master Box. What do you think?
This question leads to all

Adam,
Diorama will show Polish campaign, the camo scheme is 31 (most of these vehicles were repainted in '36 with a new schemes but some of them stayed in older outfit . Figures of German soldiers are supposed to show soldiers from 28th Infantry Division (later 28th Jäger Division) formed in Breslau (Wrocław) in '36.
RPM kits are various... from very bad to avarage. This one (with interior) had only two fiting problems with the hull (unfortunately quite difficult to fix) and typical problem of interior not exaclty fiting into the hull (but same situation I had with Academy's Tiger with interior). Another thing is that assembly instrucion for the interior looks terrible... like somebody drew it with pan on a paper kept on his knees...).
Concerning Master Box - I do like MB figures - interesting positions, usualy not offered by competition. Quality/Price factor is quite high. On the other hand MB kit I've used for Medic! campaign was a disaster... It had only one fiting problem: whole kit did not fit ...

You have reason they are completely unreadable - instruction and often completely bad.
So, it is proper to be equipped with photos of given vehicles and professional literature, for example:
'Wrzesień 1939. Pojazdy Wojska Polskiego'. Moim zdaniem jest niezbędna zarówno dla modelarzy jak i historyków zajmujących się tematem pojazdów w WP i polskiej broni pancernej...sorry...
Translation:
In my opinion, it is essential for modelers equal as well as historians occupying in theme of vehicle in Polish Army(1939) and polish tanks or armoured cars.

All looking good guys.

Going to do something Different.
Are KV1's allowed ?
I don't want to do a Panzer II.
I might do a Panzer I.
Thanks

Very nice, Scott, that's what I need...something large enough I can see! Interior is looking great, can't wait to see more.
Andrzej......cruising right along, base looks fantastic.
Jeff......glad to see you got it done in the Git-it-done.
Mine is in the weathering stage, which is a slooooow process for me, will post when she's done.
Great work everyone, hope to see more WIP from all

Bob, the base is basicly box made out of papery/woodish/something (hell if I know what material was that...) Then I've put styrofoam inside carved to a proper shape. Then some Acryl-Putz construction finishing putty (~1EUR/1,5kg). When this was dry I placed another layer of putty and covered all stuff with sand used for glass-making (any sand will do but particles have to be very small).
Hope it helps!
