Matt, how about a medical truck? You could maybe paint the markings on and scratch build a stretcher, help out Adam's guy that got shot in the head

Thanks everyone !
Adam that would be a great help !

For the weathering i was thinking of a muddy IV D...

I'm doing the Panzer IV D from Tamyia, a rather simple build, i'll just add some cables and extra equipment.
Hope to post some pics soon of the progress so far.

Should i post them here ? or in the KitMaker gallery ?

hey ,
good progress is being done by quite afew and our enlistment I see is growing.WoHoo

Black sharpie was used for the black border, extra fine point, color is off, when done, but after it's sprayed with clear flat, ends up coming out dull black.

with our weather turning lousy this weekend,a lot of progress was made on my Somua S-35.

Congratulations Joe!

You have executed great job

James, you're right - my panzer grenadier(his name's Otto )actually needs immediate medical care and there is good idea for Matt if it walks about his Opel Blitz

But unfortunately, Otto has not survived war with Poland in 1939

John - Here, several photos of Panzer IV in Poland for you:

Great progress, Joe. I like the "rain washed" look of Somua. Excellent weathering.

Adam, thanks for sharing the pictures. They are really unique and new to me.

Wow Adam, those are some great photos that I have not seen before! Have any of 38(t)'s?
RIP Otto

Great work Joe, everything came together nicely

Paint and markings are on mine, began the tracks and will post pics soon. Still debating if I should go with the smoke launchers or not.

Here's where I'm at... since I was never real keen on using 'Future' as a base for the decals I followed an idea of Scott Espin and applied the markings on the flat paint. Needs another shot or two of Solvaset but I think they'll blend in ok. Thanks for the tip, Scott, I guess 'back to the future' is not for me Still up in the air with the smoke launchers, I think they give it a more menacing look, but we'll see. Detail painting and tracks are progressing, slow but sure. Cheers.

Beautiful work James!

I was surprised at how well I was able to get the decals to hunker down on the flat paint. I think I'm going to dispense with Future altogether, at least for armor models. As you probably realized you do have to do multiple applications of Micro-Set to get them to settle down, and it is important to make sure you remove as many of the air bubbles as possible when initial putting them on. While I had a few little air pockets, it certainly wasn't any more than I would have had using a layer of Future.

I finished the basic construction on the Italeri Pz. Kpfw. I Ausf. B that I am building for this campaign.

I should be able to get the base coat of paint on it in the next day or so.

Harv.....great progress on that little guy, looking forward to some paint on it.

Scott....yeah, I have about 6-7 apps of solvaset on, I actually took the point of my #11 blade and 'perforated' the larger decals after the 4th coat hoping that it would work it's way under, it seemed to work. I have a little silvering which I hope the dullcote will take care of. Future always made me nervous that it would be too thick of an application, or I'd get runs, then after the decals I would just dullcote it anyway since I like to weather on a flat finish.
Thanks for the compliment!

Adam....those photos are fantastic, that is great stuff! Thank you very much for posting them. I for one have not seen these photos anywhere else and am really enjoying them. Thanks again and thanks for commenting on my build so far.

Bob....thank you for the words of encouragement, I did rush this build a little and these Tristar kits are very unforgiving, I still think it will turn out ok.

Cheers all, looking forward to more WIP posts!

Hi all!
Today I had a free day (at last ) so I slept longer, I had time for slow, easy breakfast and then a lot of time for painting. Therefore my figures for this campaign are almost ready, camo on TK-3 is finished and I've also done a lot of work with diorama basis (righ now it is drying next to the window).
Unfortunately it's too late to take some good pics, but tomorrow I'm not going to work (again ) so there will be a plenty of time to make some more progress combined with improvement (my supervisor's favorit words ).

@ Adam - I see that you are great fan of Odkrywca - I think it is a great site to search for some resources.

Nice clean build Harv it is looking good and the tracks are so nice and straight and flat, maybe I could get you interested in a swap my RPM tracks are so not straight and the ends meet each other twisted as if they were props. Any way your build is great and I am waiting to see the great paint job.
