how do you add the banner at the bottom of a post
John,
Go to "My account" at the top of site, than "Modify profile". You will find one box named "URL for Signature Image" - put the link to the image there and save changes.
I hope it helps.
OK people - we're A-4 so get prepared. I have to finish some work I have started for other campaigns before I start building this one, but I think I'll be able to build something for this campaign as well.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I might even finish a campaign for once

Still waiting for some last minute stuff I ordered at Tracks & Troops (a crew, some decals from Peddinghaus and an Aber barrel) to pimp the Tiger II a little that carries the fallschirmjäger, hopefully it will be here on time.
Here's my little source of inspiration
Tiger II nbr. 222 of SS Unterscharführer Kurt Sowa of s.SS.PzAbt.501 (according to this site -
http://www.fprado.com/armorsite/tigers-02.htm, I'm going to build nbr. 312 though.
Good luck with the built everyone.

Karol,
Since you are using Photobucket you have direct code for images pasted at forum available there - just check it.
Here is your picture:
@ Maurice - THAT is what I call inspiration - great picture! It asks for a diorama

). I have 4 models and one diorama started already...
(shame on me... I'm suppose to be leading this campaign)

Australian friends are probably already finished their entries and US friends still have time to buy some stuff for this one
.
Good luck and remember to have fun!

Ok gentlemen (and ladies if any are out there
) My game plan is this :-
Turn two of these
Into these
which will entail me scratch building one of these
The basic vigenette will be two Pararescue Jumpers, just after being heli-droped somewhere in the Afgan mountains on a Search and Rescue mission, securing their perimiter.
Hopefully my scratch building abilities will let me complete the EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle, MK14) other wise he'll just end up with an M4

Hi
Here is what I'm going to be building for the Airborne campaign.
I shall be building the Pak Howitzer as it is.
The figure's I shall use will be converted to represent men from the 82nd Airborne Glider Troops that landed on D-Day. As these troops wore the basic Infantry uniform rather than Para trooper jump suits I thought that would make a change for Airborne to be shown this way.
Building for My pleasure & hoping others like what I build.
Being built at the moment
Way too many unfinished.

This will be my little project:
Tiger II with men from the 3rd Fallschirmjäger Division, December 1944, Ardennes, Belgium + tank crew from Mig productions and an Aber barrel for the tank (still traveling somewhere between the Czech Republic and the Netherlands):
And for the diorama part one ruined church:

Right now I am thinking Red Devils with a knocked Jagdtiger. Hmm... decisions, decisions.....

Right i have started working on a small vignette inspired by operation market garden.
I am using Tamiya's cromwell kit to create a 11th armoured division reconnaissance tank which linked up with elements of the 101st airborne at Nuenen i am using the new dragon gen2 u.s tank riders set which i am converting the uniforms to the airborne issue m43 one. the kit is pretty spot on anyway i just need to add the rigger made leg pockets.
i will put some photos on soon.

The below pics show the in progress of fig. I have not done any highlighting or shadowing to it other than the gun and the pants.
The below pics show the in progress of fig. Again I have not done any highlighting or shadowing other than the back of shirt and the pants. I AM NOT DONE WITH THE EYES!!!!
I have not received any of my dio stuff, but I have it all planned out. I will get some pics as soon as I can of Diorama Materials and the rest of the figures I will be using. I will most likely start a BLOG on the build, because I find it helpful with the responces and advice that are given.

Right well as in war, in modelling things do not always run smoothly. I opened the dragon gen2 u.s tank riders kit to discover that the detail wasn't what i was hoping for the boots in particular were a problem they were supposed to look like the m43 buckle boots but looked more like british gaiters so i have had to do some conversion work.
also i didn't much like the straps and webbing sio i have added some photo etched ones.
the rigger made pockets however i think have gone very well.
anyway some photos are shown below
thanks simon
