@ Patrick: I really think you did a great job on this diorama. Can you show us/me how you did that house? I am planning to build one just like that and any tips/hints would be most welcome.
This "Stuka" really does look the part! The exterior and the interior are beautifully build and painted. I do have a few nitpicks on it though. The bottom half of the vehicle and it's interior do looks used and muddy, but the upper half looks clean and allmost brand new. Maybe the 2 should be blended more. Also the butts on the mg's are black, but I think brown would be more appropriate. It would bring the mg's out more, too.
I'll ad pictures sometime tomorrow...
Thanks Ron. Sadly, my weakest point is in photography. The 251 is not that clean in reality but I also think that it might be helped a little more. Thanks for the head up. As for the MG, I prefer to stick with reality.
The hut was quite easy to make. The structure was made with evergreen sheets. On one side, I've glued small balsa planks. As for the front texture, I used Polyfilla that I textured with and old toothbrush. As for the roof, I've cut hair from cheap kitchen brush (for roastbeef and turkey ;-))
Thanks again for the comments

*****FINISHED SDKFZ. 7 TAMIYA*****
Hello everybody, so here the pics of my finalized SdKfz. 7 as far as building, painting and decals as well as a light weathering. I will continue to post the in progress of the diorama where this kit will belong. As somebody noticed earlier, this kit was so old that the decals were ruined so I had to obtain some extras from other kits and hand paint some markings...anyway...very fun to do...
And here some pics of the figures, including the driver...bodies are Tamiyas and Zvezda, heads from Verlinden. I still need to work a little bit on the eyes but they are almost done....
Thanks for following so far, any comments are more than welcomed...

Hi everyone!
I have been busy lately, couldn't properly check on progress, sorry.
Good job Mirko. However, compared to the rest of the halftrack, your dusty running gear looks a bit monotone, maybe you could try something there?
Tim, nice Kettenkrad. Will you apply weathering?
Patrick, you diorama turned out nicely, I liked your panzer grey. The straw roofed hut is also a very good addition. One thing though, is the pose of the soldier right? I would think those binoculars would be a little to heavy to hold in one hand only.
Andrew, nice Sdkfz 251. Glad to see another complete halftrack!
Keep them coming everyone!

Before I went on vacation, and my pc crashing 2 days before that , I managed to take some pictures of my progress on the 251/2.
I hollowed out the mortarmuzzle, added some Dragon leftovers and did the tracks. The latter were horrible, plastic tracks with vinyl pads that had a horrible fit, due to the seams that ran over them!
Here are the pictures:
What it looks like now:
The interior:
And those #* !*#-tracks, which I glued solid!!! With normal plastic glue AND CA!!
You can see the seams which cause the damn things to miss aline and which are impossible to remove....

I am joining this campaign a bit late but my build will be the old venerable Tamiya M3A2 halftrack. Since it has been sitting in my stash for several years it is probably time to dust it off and complete it.
Pics will be coming...

Mirko, great Sd.Kfz. 7. Excellent paint job. Looking forward to see it with the crew on.
Keith, Very nice progress on the M16. Looking forward to see it with weathering.
Ron, those are terrible tracks. I guess this one is going to run into a muddy field or two?

Hello All! I've decided to take a shot at the Half Track campaign. I'm going with AFV's Sd. Kfz. 11 Zugkraftwagen 3t German 3 Ton Half-Track. Now thats a mouthfull! Looks like a nice little kit. I'm thinking about making the 1943 Karkov Winter Cammo version, I'm starting it up tonight and will have some photos up soon! Cheers!

Ross, great work on the M-16 gun turret. The wires to the guns, would go to a solemoid, mounted where the "Butterfly"trigger would have been
.Looking in the m2/3 halftrack walkaround book,by Squadron, I can see wires going into the box below the gunner's handles.

I'm back on my 251/22 after little break, and completed interior today. I tried to achieve dirty look on a old war horse, which has survived throught hard winter.
Damn, forgot to fill those pushmarks!
