Very nicely done everyone. I wish I had time to join this GB but right now it is not possible. Great work by all involved.

Greetings all! Some very inspiring builds happening during this campaign (and a hint of jealousy on my part ). I haven't exactly had a smooth build with this old kit. Some warping of parts has required some ingenuity and time to circumvent. Here are some progress shots.
Excuse the lopsided front wheel. I just tried to dry fit it for the pictures and didn't notice they ended up askew.
In this shot you can see that I carved out the drivers vision ports and positioned their covers in the open position.
Interior painted and modestly weathered.
While the tracks aren't too bad, they did require some ingenuity to glue them in a more realistic sagging position. Being 1/76 scale made most of my clamps and such too gargantuan to use. Note: tires are now properly glued in place.
I am hoping to pretty much finish the building part today and at least get an overall base coat on the beast.
Best to all,
Jan

Base coat later this evening, main painting, detailing and hopefully weathering tomorrow.

Tuomas, I guess the problem is your photos are too large, they are over 2.5MBs each! I can downsize them to 800*600 resolution (which Kitmaker generally uses) and send them to you or upload them for you. Basically when you tried to upload that large sized files the system couldn't cope with it and rejected them.
In 800*600 resolution they are down to 131Kbs in total all the way from 7.5MBs (7680Kbs) Whatever you prefer, I can easily send them to you if you PM me your e-mail adress or upload them, no problem.

This thread has been quiet for a bit. Guess everyone is rushing to get done by the deadline. I've finished the old 1/72 ESCI 250 and put a couple of pictures in the campaign gallery. I found an old diorama kit and started toying with that as a backdrop. It's not complete by any stretch but I hope that it adds interest to the shots. I'm not all that happy with the camo on the half-track but in my defence, it's my first attempt at camouflage with the new airbrush. Everything up to this point has been pretty much sprayed a solid colour.
Here's the SdKfz 250/9
The SdKfz 251/10 was base coated and had some initial weathering done.
I took a break from the 251 to write this as I'm waiting for the latest coat of weathering to dry. The camouflage is done and the suspension is weathered but it's still needs further work. Should be ready in time (fingers crossed).
Good luck to all,
Jan

Mirko, I'll need the photobucket links or the photos themselves, so that I can download them to my own computer and then upload them to campaign pages.
The most common problem is file sizes, if you upload small sized files with 800*600 resolution, it generally works okay. Other times, Kitmaker network can go crazy or your anti-virus or firewall can prevent your upload.

Hi, I've almost missed this one...
My Kettenkrad is ready since about a 2 weeks or so but I've totally forgot to make pics and post them here
I'll do it today...
@ Emre - you had great idea with this campaign - simple subject effected with gargantuan variety of vehicles depicted!

Ok, as prommised: I've finally made some pictures of my finished Kettenkrad:
I hope you like it.
Since this campaign has very nice ribbon I'd like to say something about it: gimme gimme gimme!!! .
Emre, thank you very much for very interesting campaign! It was fun! BTW, I tried to place these pictures in a campaign gallery but I can't for some reason: strange error message appears.

Well I finally got the 251 finished and the photos of it up in the gallery. I took a lot of different pictures so I'll post some different ones in the Braille Scale forum later. Here's a teaser:
Emre, I would like to join the others in thanking you for tis most enjoyable and fun campaign. The 251 was sitting in my stash since the early nineties and the SWMBO is so delighted that there are two fewer boxes to take up space.
Andrzej, I just uploaded my pictures not ten minutes ago and had no problems. Perhaps the image size is too large for the gallery?
Cheers to all.

That's not the size of pics... it something with logging in I think... I've managed to go around the problem and I've uploaded a picture today, but the similiar problem with the gallery appeared before (about a two-three months ago).

Well hopefully I'm still in time. according to my calender its still the 31 march down here in New Zealand. I had another kit I wanted to finish for this one but could only complete the smaller one.

I can't for the life of me work out how to place photo's in here from photobucket. So I have placed the above link and placed a photo in the campaign folder. Thanks for the Campaign and the extension.

You're welcome mate!
All you have to do is to put [ i m g ] in front of url adress and [ / i m g ] at the end (just remove the spaces, I've placed them to make the code visible).

I was really pressed for time with this build and would never have finished without the extension, but i've finally finished and uploaded the photos. i would have liked to have completed the figures and diorama but unfortunately that wasn't possible. i will make a new post in the diorama section to keep anyone who is interested updated. for now though, you'll have to make do with these pics. i'm quite pleased with the outcome as this is my 7th ever build and my first heavily weathered vehicle with so much mud. it looks a bit out of place now but the diorama will depict it driving down a muddy road after a snowfall so hopefully it will not look like i overdid it too much.

Give Emre some time, mate. He has to check all builds and add the ribbon's to each profile and believe me - it takes a lot of time... I've done that three times or so...
You will find your ribbon in your profile.
