A bit more progress thankfully because of the extension ...! Should have em wrapped up in a couple of days or so all going well.

Hi All,
I have been working on a Half track on and off for a while, so I think I now have time to complete it. Its a Tamiya SdKfz. 251/1 Ausf. D. It will be pretty much OOB with perhaps a few minor adds. Eventually I want to make a dio with it, but thats most likey a ways away.
Anyway I will post some in progress photos and should be done soon! Thanks for great models and great ideas all!

Hey Half-Trackers!
Here is my Dragon M2A1. This was such a sweet kit to build. I'm surprised there weren't more in the campaign.
It's beeen great to see all the cool builds, especially the dioramas. Very inspiring. Thanks Emre for putting this great campaign together.
Cheers,
Duncan

Good work Duncan! Please don't forget to upload your photo in the campaign gallery as well. I was planning to acquire one of those DML M2 Halftracks, but with the USD appreciating fast against our Turkish Lira, it seems to be a distant hope...

Well, I'm finished.....and not proud of it......that'll teach me to bite off more than I can chew
Thank you very much for the campaign, Emre, even though my participation was extremely limited, I did follow everyone's builds and enjoyed/learned a lot.

Hi Everyone!
With about 2 weeks to go until the end of our extension, I checked the names in the campaign galleries. We have 105 enlisted modelers for the campaign, but only 20 of you has uploaded photos in the campaign gallery. While 20% is not a bad completion rate, do not forget to upload your photos in the campaign pages.
If you are having technical problems uploading your photos, send them to me or give me your photobucket/imageshack/etc links and I can upload them for you.

I can't wait to see all of these in a gallery like the Eastern Front campaign. Do you think they will do something like that Emre'? I think that was an excellent idea, it was really cool to see everyones final builds that way.
Most certainly. I would like to echo Emre's call above mine in that respect, please don't forget to upload a picture to the campaign gallery

Thanks, and once again, well done all for making this such a fine campaign.

They have taken the mortar out of the truck to do some practice with it out on the range...
Here is another 1/2 track I finished about a week ago.. This, again, is a very old Tamiya kit..
I am still learning the use of pigments etc... and I made up the camo scheme.

Emre, I decided to join up. I have been doing a review and build of the following kit.
Nice kit with a few minor problems, nothing major.

Greetings all! Too many great builds in this campaign to mention all by name. I've been rather busy with two other builds and didn't post here until now. I found three mouldy oldies in my stash that I believe I bought in the early nineties (around the time I let my building lapse. Here's the kit.
Two kits are ready for weathering and this one being built is progressing faster. The SWMBO is very happy that I've reduced my stash by three. Actually it's by four as I am also attempting to also complete a 250/9 variant like Dade built earlier. I am totally agonizing over the tracks as they are horrible.
A few quick progress shots on the third 251. Note, not all the holes in the bogie wheels were clean and had to be drilled out by hand with a pin vice.
Hope this brings back some fond memories to some.
Cheers,
Jan

Great stuff guys. It is nice to see the extension working. Pitifully, it looks like I won't be finishing up my own halftrack due to a lot of reasons.
Glad you joined us Joe! That Sdkfz 11 should be easy to build, a friend of mine is currently building it without much hassle.
Jan, I can't see your pics here? There's a problem I guess.
Glad you liked the campaign Anthony, but the credit for the ribbon goes to Andzrej, I just told him what I would like and he kindly designed and sent the ribbon.
Tom, that M-16 surely needs a car wash . Good work from an old kit.
Tuomas, the deadline is March 31. Since there was already an extension of one month, further extensions does not seem to be feasible at this moment. I would be very glad if you can complete your build within that time.
Thanks for joining and building models guys!

Emre, I tried a different hosting location for the pictures and although I can see them I guess the "Permissions" were set wrong for others. I've edited my post and changed back to my old location and hopefully that should fix things. Could someone please post here and let me know that they can see the pictures in my previous post.
Cheers,
Jan

Yeah, I can see the photos now, thank you! That's a mighty small Sdkfz 251! I have built the Matchbox one in the same scale years ago...

Hi Emre' and everyone else!! I finally finished the Famo and managed to throw together AFV's late SdKfz 11 with some cargo.
Sorry for the dark pics, my bench is taken up with builds right now and it's ugly outside to take pics.
I posted them in the campaign gallery as well.
Thanks for a fun campaign!!
