I'm in,

I've got an interesting subject: from the movie Halls of Montezuma (1950), an M4A3 105 POA CWS 5H, which was used as a flamethrower tank.

Hay all not long to go now hope you all have some interesting ideas lined up?

I have decided not to do the is art Abrams i thing the scratch building involved is a bit beyond my abilities

I have narrowed it down to two options.
The Humvee from the hurt locker (well done on the oscars BTW) or the US Air Force F 18 from the The Rock (anyone spot whats wrong there? ).

So this campaign has finally started! I like the look of that F-5, ah pardon me, MiG 28 ...

I spent the last 30 minutes looking for a good picture of an M41 in "Patton" only ro realize I can't take still pictures off of the DVD. Any tips here? I hope I can still do the campaign even if it doesn't work... Couldn't find any pics on the net either.

I noticed the American tanks in the film are M41, M46, M47 and M48, a total mixture of everything from the 50ies and 60ies... All of them have the muzzle breaks removed (you can even see where they used to be) but otherwise I see no changes (apart from markings). Some have an aircraft .50 cal, some the M2 HB. Got mysef a German 75mm L70 barrel to add to the Skybow M41.

Cheers!

Hi
Havn't even started mine, still doing some other campaigns. Hope to start soon.
Will be doing the Battle of the Bulge with an M47 painted as the film. Hope to make a diorama for it as well. ( timeframe permitting).

Hay all i have made a start on my 'MiG 28' it is the old Airfix kit as it was the only F5 i could seem to find. Not only is this the first plane i have built in many years but also the first Airfix kit i have built in years.

Hey guys. I would like to contribute to this campaign. I have a few scenes planned from the movie Stalingrad from 1992, or from the Russian film Kursk from I think it was 1976.

Hi all
I'm going to do a Steiner from Cross of iron in 1/6.
The figs not too bad but I want to do a later in the film version, this means ditching most of the uniform and equipment.
I'll keep the H/S, trousers and boots, I've managed to scroung /beg/buy most parts now
Here he is in the box

The ppsh is pretty basic so I will mod this.
More pics soon

Looking forward to it Paul.

Well top gun was on TV on Saturday night and it gave me some motivation to get on with this one. Most of the big stuff is done it is just a case of doing all the small things now.

I noticed that i got the paint on goose' helmet wrong so i will have to re do it what a PITA

I also now have the decals for mavericks plane.

Finally started on my build.
It's a M47 Patton as used for the film Battle of the Bulge.

Only done the wheels so far.
