Hi Folks,
Well I am just about to prime the Turret of the M48A2GA2. I re-textured the surface, added the LO Model parts and added some scatchbuilt parts. The hull is nearly complete but still requires some work. I hope to finish in the NATO SCAPP, 3 colour pattern.
That being said I may need to take advantage of the campaign extension.
Eric.

Short question: Did the german M48s ever get painted in 3-color? When the painting scheme came up they where part of the territorial army (TerHer) and back in 1987 at least ours in the Jager Batallions heavy companie where in "Gelboliv"

A Bundeswehr-Leo...always nice to see vehicles with the Eiserne Kreuz. Properly built and successful detail painting of e.g. the lamps, tools, tows, grenades.

the campaign is extended to December 31st.
This extension is designed as a waiting period only.
Good luck.
Thanks, Marco. I could also use some more time for my Belgian recce Spitfire from 1950. Construction is finished and I will start with the painting tomorrow.
More to follow....

The campaign is still open for these members until December 31st.
Therefore I as the campaign leader will wait for my own ribbon to this date.

TRhanks for running this campaign and allowing a little more time, Marco. I have made some more progress on my Spitfire, so the NATO recon abilities will soon be boosted.
Next is some light weathering and decals.

Now I have finished my entry for this NATO campaign. It is the 1748 Academy Spitfire Mk. XIVe build as an aircraft from the Belgian air force, no. 2 squadron, no. 2 wing, 1950.
The kit is really good with no major problems and an excellent decal sheet from Cartograph.
Sorry the pictures are a bit bright due to the flash. We are short on daylight in Denmark this time of year.
Comments welcome

Thank you, Marco. You are perfectly right about the cockpit. The canopy is bulged making masking very difficult. In the end it came out ok, but no easy task.
The contrast in the pictures is a little heavy due to the flash, but I hope to be able to take pictures in daylight during the Christmas holidays.
Thank you for a well run campaign and a beautiful ribbon!

Hello Jesper,
hopefully you get your pics as you want them.
Before I had purchased a daylight lamp I too was puzzling how to manage the illumination and to let the model looks like it is actually.

Mission accomplished.
Congratulation Marcin!
A pretty nice Pershing. Your paint job is very good. The monochromacity has been successfully broken with subtile nuances of the basic colour and the addition of the superb storages. The details themselves are also very good and even the MGs were drilled out.
Excellent photos.

Well folks,
Finally here is my NATO built of a German M48 A2GA2. In case anyone notices I have straightened out the MG3 Mount. It was one of those things that you only notice after you have taken the pictures. Also the antennas that I made up are MIA at this time but I am sure I will find them once I stop looking.
Thanks to Marco for shepherding this great Campaign.

Congratulation Eric - mission accomplished.
A very fast build - maybe I should give you the Blitz of my username as an additional reward.
And a most impressive Bundeswehrpanzer (have not expected to see your M48 as a German one) you have provided here with so many beautiful details: Small chains for the Nebelwurfbecher, sharp edged camo scheme, proper micro paint job and the many scratch built details.
