Hi Sal

That splint looks much better and more in scale. I know the suspension and stearing is likely to be too hard to fix especially with the size of locating pins for the wheels. Maybe something to think about the next time.

I will need to get a crack on with my model for the campaign too. I was given a Willys jeep with 0.50 Cal so that will be a start. Just got to plan out the interior of the G Waggon.

hey john, nice work so far.

on the camera should be a macro setting. this allows you to take close up pics.

What fiigures are they going to be?

Matt
They will be Australian SOTG soldiers. I'm currently painting them and working on a base. Thanks for the tip with the photography.

John,
Click on the photo button above sing into the KITMAKERS GALLERY.
Then scroll down to Campaigns, click on that, then click on currently active, scroll down to the campaign in question and click on the campaign.
In the upper right hand corner click on upload photo.
Careful if the picture is too large it wont load and you will have to compress it.
Hope that helps.
Prost

John,
I had the same problems with this stuff too its a little tricky until you get it down.
Once you sign in click on a photo you want then scroll down to the bottom of the photo. You will see Linked thumbnail next to that is an icon click the icon and below that you will get the HTML CODE that is what you use.
I opened a photo bucket account is free and easier.
Hope that helps

I am getting ready to get started on this campaign after putting the final touches on my Sherman from Guam and Ostwind 37mm flak for the Pacific and workhorse campaigns respectively.

I am going a little oldschool with Revell's reboxing of the good old Matchbox kit. More to follow.

Can I still enlist for this campaign?

I have a couple of vignette's I'd like to do for this campaign. The first is a Ghillie suited sniper, and the second involves dragons SAS kit.

I have made some more progress on y LRDP jeep and truck. It is the old Matchbox kit which comes with a small diorama base.
The detail is actually nice considering the age of this kit and it fits together very well.

Hello, My name is Bobby and all your SF builds are looking real nice. I want to join up and do my US navy Seals figures. It is a old Dragon kit #3017. This will be my first time in a campaign and doing figures. jeepkid019

I thought I completely missed this campaign and was just working on the vignette I had planned for it over the weekend, glad to see I didn't miss the campaign, though I was going to build the vignette anyway.

Hi jdan96B,

Just saw your posts on the Forum. You're making some Australian SOTG figures. Are you arming them with Steyr assault rifles or more specialist weapons?

In relation to posting photo's, there are good instructions (thanks to GaryKato) on the 'New to Campaigns' forum. They are quite visual and unlike other instructions they are easy to follow!

Thanks,

Eoin

P.S.: I haven't started my but I still got three months!

Thanks for the comment, Scott. I have made some more progress now. The main colours are on and now the decals will go on and the weathering can begin to blend everything together.

Thanks for the comment, Scott.

I have now finished my small LRDG diorama. The kits show their age - especially for the figures included, but it was still fun to build and brought back those memories.

Comments welcome
