Hi guys. I would like also to join your company. I have a little vignette with special forces soldiers. I do not understand where to put the photo with the description? In this topic need to insert a job or need to create a separate branch where to put the pictures? Thank you for your help.

Well here is my entry for this campaign. It is a Special Forces Fast Attack Vehicle. Models of this type were used in Dessert Shield ,Dessert Storm.
It is a conversion from an old MPC dune buggy kit, I had in the stash. I made a new engine, with details. Added seat belts, interior details. Modified the sponsons, to become stowage baskets. I sourced tires and wheels from the spares spox. Equipment and gear are from my own castings. There are more photos in my Models Album. Feedback welcome. Enjoy!! Todd

Gentlemen, So knowing that I'm signed up for almost every campaign on Kitmaker and I had 3 or 4 ending in October, I let my kids talk me into building Halloween decorations for the yard! Needless to say I ran the clock out and decided to focus on the one campaign that was the closest to completion, this one. Without checking the forum I plowed ahead and, after cutting the kids trick-or-treating short, threw pastels on my LRDG jeep to finish in time... then I found out Scott extended the campaign. So I finished but it's sub-par. Oh well, at least I'm down to 583 kits in the stash (not exaggerating)!

Charlie, It looks good, I like the German MG mounted on the dash, but try taking your pictures in natural light so the flash don't blot out your weathering

Some excellent builds going on, Hope to crack on and finish the Pink Panther in the coming week so I can start the painting after Scalemodelworld (fingers crossed I make it)

Thanks Sal, I actually didn't think of the light issue. I was just trying to hit the deadline and it was 23:00 when I took the pictures anyway. Didn't get a fine grind on the pastels, there are some "illogical strap" issues, and the M2 wouldn't sit like that either. All products of rushing. I can fix it when I put it in the Dio I'm going to do but I hate having to go backwards.
Thanks for the tip,
Charlie

Hi Charlie
I am a bit of a fan of the LRDG. Just wondering if you took the weapon layout from a photo. Have a few in my stash (some what smaller than yours but still too big) and looking at different variations.
By the way, nice build.

Hey Thomo, Yes and no. Yes, I've seen a picture where the MG34 was mounted on the passenger side dash with a simple pintle. No, they had drum magazines on theirs. I ran into a spares issue because the drums are very close to the Japanese 20mm aircraft cannon drums in 1/48th and I used all mine on the G4M1 Betty I'm building for the Big, Beautiful Bombers Campaign. So I "temporarily" mounted the ammo can with a dab of silicone caulk.
Thanks,
Charlie
Thanks,
Charlie
