Stanley,
I never attempted to make a ribbon but Andrzej Snigorski posted this tutorial on how to make them
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/138001&page=1
Hope that helps

I always use PhotoShop CS for all pixel manipulation as I really like the fact that you always learn new tricks while using it.

I would say that when making a ribbon you need to keep it simple due to the very small size, the ratio that is needed does not lend itself to flags so select colours that represent the country, location, unit, or combination there of. If including a centre item select something that is easily identified and has obvious relevance.

That's a great looking ribbon Darren. This is going to be a fun campaign.

Are we "Yanks" going to be required to spell "armour", "colour", "tyre", "centre" etc. in the British style while posting in this forum?

Ahhhh... Two nations separated by a common language!

Of course, I'm a New Yorker, so I don't have an accent...

Here is a sample of what can be created using PScs. This image was created using the Royal Engineers cap badge and hunting around for their colours.

Hi Stanley,
I just arranged a deal for MiniArts Dingo Mk.1B British Scout Car. Would that be an acceptable build for this campaign It look like it will be a good kit to build. Comes with a plate of PE and I never built a MiniArt vehicle

Sal: Those kits have won at least one prestigious award from there debut I believe it was, and anybody I've talked too can't stop saying good things about them. They've been hot sellers since their initial release and a lot of shops have a hard time keeping them on the shelves. I actually plan and building one of the earlier all-wheel steering models when I get the chance.

I too will be building one of the Trumpter Challenger II's along with Darren, or rather combining two of them.

Stanley, the British Armour title doesn't exclude lightly-armoured cars like the Dingo so there isn't a problem as far as I can see, but if you really want to change the title just drop a PM to Gary Kato since I don't think Campaign Leadewrs have the power to edit titles directly. However, if you remove armour from the requirements you open the flood-gates to all manner of soft-skins...
