Hi Bob,
Yep the kit includes the dolly wheels on the box art, here's a couple of sprue shots.
I was just surprised how small the box is, looking forward to the campaign now and getting it built.....

Unless something really untoward happens between then and now, you can count me in with something Germany with wheels and tracks and huge rockets.

Hey Bob,
I've never done a Campaign before and would like to enter with this one....
a M3 Half Track fitted with some Wurfrahmen 40 racks in German use!!!
Not a 'What if' see link below.
http://beute.narod.ru/Beutepanzer/us/M3_halftrack/wurframen.htm
Can I come out to play?

Depending on the warhead it could be out to about 1900, but I remember reading somewhere there was a minimum range setting to protect the crew!!!!
I no expert so don't quote me I just like strange/oddball Military kit and enjoy building that kind of thing!
I've sign up now so we see how it turns out!
Regards Duncan.

Here is what it looks like at ribbon size.
I scaled it down. Keeping the proportions resulted in a 80x20 image. Then I cropped it to 50 pixels wide with priority on retaining the cannon.

I like Axels better also, this was just practice and I have a long way to go before I know what I am doing to make a ribbon by using Paint.

I have a simple question. Please forgive my ignorance...
Is a self-propelled howitzer, such as the M8 Scott, considered artillery or elegible for this campaign? (I tend to look for smaller subjects that fit on my shelves ).
How were they used? I see from Wikipedia that the main ammunition was smoke or high explosive. They fired indirectly, right? From pictures of the M8, it's hard to see them elevate the gun very much.
thanks,
Sean.

Sean, it qualifies the M8 was artillery. Here is the definition of what qualifies again.
Rules:
1. Artillery focused campaign.
2. Any era: as long as the projectile was tossed by an explosive charge (propellants can be black powder, cartdrige, bag powder, or rocket) form a distance that two armies do not physically reach out and touch each other.
3. Scale: 1/72 - 1/35
4. As long as it made the earth move, shake, or topple trees, buildings, or whole armies.
5. Movement: (horse, selfpropelled, towed, dropped by chute, moved my hand power)
6. Dioramas: incouraged.
7. Share ideas and tips to help each other.
8. Post photo with that day newspaper on starting date.
9. At least two (2) in progress photos.
10. (1) photo posted into the gallery.
11. If you dont have fun then dont come to the party.

Just got the latest Squadron catalog here. I noticed the Hobbyboss 1/35 Karl (late version) is on sale for $22.99 (normally $45.99).

I don't have the money or the room for that kit. I already have the Hasegawa 1/72 Karl kit here. I will stick to building Italeri's little 1/35 7.5cm leIG18. I'm pretty sure that is a kit I can complete.

I will be entering Skif's 1/35 2S1 Gvozdika Soviet 122mm self-propelling howitzer. Should have it in a couple of weeks.

After reading the forum thread, it appears that Anti-Tank and Anti-Aircraft Artillery are acceptable to this campaign.
Is that correct?
Thanks

Tom, in some shape or form each piece was used to lob a shell at an apposing army so yes to your question.

Bob,
I would like to participate. I did not see this campaign listed under the campaigns header. Did I miss it, or just sign up with you for now?
Thanks,
Tom Moon

I am also joining in. It seems to be a good occasion to take out Trumpeter's Karl Morser from the stash.
