She is primed and ready for painting. I am hoping that I can get a first coat on this weekend. Will update progress and pics when I have something to show. Cheers.

She has some colour on her now. This is the initial coat and I will be going lighter more towards a stone colour rather than the yellowish tone that it is now (remodulating my paint later tonight). Thanks for the kudos, although I think it is pretty rough. Everyone else is looking good, I still don't know how you guys can build those 1/72 scale kits. That is some serious attention to detail there. A few pics to show my progress. G'night y'all.

@Spacewolfdad - that Roden kit is looking excellent. Are you getting close to
the paint phase?
@Didgeboy - looks like a labor of love. you've really pulled out all of the stops
on this one.
@Sudzonic - so long as it is a command version. I'll even take command
version pink elephants, if you can find one
@Scarfer - that was a quick build. very clean. hope the painting and
weathering go as smoothly.

Hi Matt,
Getting the airbrush out next week, should be finished shortly after that. Then it is on with the SdKfz 250. Your build is looking really good, the Kfz 15 is one of my favourite vehicles. I wish ICM would downscale their 1/48 version, I would be at the front of the queue for that one.
There is some amazing builds going on here and I reckon the gallery should be really interesting with all the different types on display.
All the best,
Paul

I wish I had been able to find the horsht in another brand in the same scale. The undercarriage is really nice, but the rest of the kit is pretty sparse. The spare wheel well covers don't fit, when you have a wheel there. The directions are kind of sketchy when it comes to the placement of the levers and mirror supports. Just had to go with best guess on the latter. But, it only cost $10.

@canuck100a-I've considered purchasing that kit once or twice. I'll be interested in how it builds up.

Nice job on the command car Tom. This was my first pick for the campaign, but I forgot where I found it.

Scott,
That's an excellent subject-- that's what I was considering, but finding ZIL's in 1/35 are sold out (and more costly than I'd hoped-- wife's birthday this month and all). That one looks 1/72, right? Good, clean build you've got going there!
Nice.
I've got 2 months left to get moving on this campaign.

Rodolfo, which kit is this?

Hello Matt!
Is the old kit of Dragon "Pzbeobwg. III Ausf H" Imperial Series #9030.
This was an express construction, it only took me two days to build. The tracks were missing in the kit, so I had to replace them with Tamiya

Rodolfo

Well I have done some addition work on my Type 82 Command Vehicle. I have built the driver compartment with the parts supplied then added a few scratch built items to "busy" the area. With the open hatches and the large window areas I felt that the additions would help with the crowded appearance.

Eric: Too bad that they don't make a crew for modern Japanese forces. A driver would really knock it home.

Hi Matt,
The kit does come with some infantry figures. I am considering modifing one of them to make a driver.
