I assume the IJA Type 95 Light Tank qualifies. What about the IJA Type 92 Combat Car Type 2 "Ka Mi", or the Type 94 and 97 Tankettes? Do the Italian CV33 qualify or must it have a turret?
I hope the Vulcan kit of the Mk.VI Light tank will be out by then.

Hi Gary,
All would qualify, the only questionable one would be the Italian CV33. As long as it was classified as a tank or tankette.

Proposed overview for this campaign.
Campaign overview
The purpose of this campaign is to give light tanks some glory. This will encourage the modeler to hone their skills on a small project and have fun doing it.
Rules.
1. Any light tank, any scale, any era, Must be classified as a light tank or tankette. Panzer III and IV’s are medium tanks, so these won’t be allowed. Panzer jaegers or tank destroyers built on light tank chassis are not allowed.
2. Models can’t be started before the start date.
3. Must upload at least one photo of the kit box and contents to the campaign thread, so we know what you are going to build.
4. Must upload at least 2 Work in Progress photos to the campaign thread. More photos are strongly encouraged.
5. Must upload at least one photo to the campaign gallery of the completed model.
6. No what ifs. Paper panzers are acceptable as long as they can be documented.
7. Model is only allowed in one campaign.
8. Must have fun.
Contest Element,
A campaign ribbon will be awarded upon completion of this campaign. Only one ribbon per person.

John,
I've got a 38T and a Stuart in the pipe, so I'm sure at least one of them will be ready to build at the right time! Count me in.

Howdy Y'all
I'm in, I love light tanks. Was the M24 Chaffee a light tank? It had a 75mm gun. Right now I'm leaning towards a Tamiya Pz II or Academy Stuart.
Have a nice day,
Don "Lakota"

Don: yes, the M24 is classified as a light tank.
I will get this submitted.

John nice banner but I cant really make out what tank you put in the ribbon when it gets shrunk down
And just to cleat some things up as to what is acceptable are vehicle build on PzII and 38T chassis good, like the Hetzer and Marder II or do they have to be tanks
Just trying to clear things up

Sal,
The tank on the ribbon is a Panzer I
As far as the Hetzer and Marder class vehicles go, they are classified as a tank destroyer, so they are not allowed

I'm interested as well, the long time should work fine.
I was planning to propose a similar campaign so this is great! I have several that would fit the bill, Japanese, Italian, US, Soviet...
What about the british early war Cruisers? Not classified as light tanks but definitely in the weight/armament range...
Cheers!

The post man just brought me my kit for this campaign. The AFV Club M5A1 early.
I also just found out that the campaign submission tool is broken and will have to resubmit it again when fixed.
Stefan: as for the British early war Cruisers, I would have to take a look at the tanks in question.

Hey guys,
This campain is the perfect exuse to build a nice T-60 soviet light tank!
The only thing is that i dont have it... These miniart kits are hard to find. A lot of T-70 but minor T-60 on the shelfs of the store... I think i buy one in october on a meeting... They are not so expensive and are nice kits (like trumpeters KV series)
Regards,
Remco
