I just got done going back through the last couple pages on the campaign thread. Man!, some cool work going on. Ian's Leo and Jesper's Gephard make me want to go back and do some modern armor. they look great. Really liked the reference pics on the Gephard.
John, I didn't find your starting point in the campaign, but which T-70 kit is that? Miniart? looks great!

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments.
Jesper, it still has a coat of Future on -- I typically use this as a base during weathering. It will definitely be a flat finish when its done.
Mark, I used the Tamiya kit -- no frills, just built it as OOB. This was to be my entry for a campaign a couple of years back, but ran out of time. I don't think the aftermarket masks were available at the time (early 2010?) -- I recall some folks used those round stick-on labels, but I just couldn't find the right size, so I had to make do with DIY masks. It was a sloowwww process -- it was fun though. Here are some pics I took then:
Cheers,
Tat

Thanks Guy. It's a Miniart kit. I was also going to try and complete a 251/D but not enough time. My starting photo is in tab "5".

Tat--Beautiful Hetzer. Really a well executed camo scheme.
Alan--Great work on the LCP. Very nice.
Well, I have my Leopard 2A6 chassis mounted on the base. It's amazing how armor modelling can really trash a work bench. Real dirt, white glue, mud and grass.....what a mess!!!! Once it dries, I will get the turret in place and get the final pics up for the deadline.
Best wishes everybody, Ian

Tat,Alan and Ian,
Your builds look great!
Mine, I have run in to some problems the M-163 is a more complicated build than I have time to finish before the deadline and the resin tracks I got for the M-110 well they turned out to be just poor copies of the kit tracks. So that leaves the Abrams and the Marder.
I did some work on the Abrams and am now working on the last set of tracks, when working with link and length tracks like this I like to carefully bend the end links where they go around the sprocket and return roller so they look more realistic.
Cheers Rob.

Please tell me that you guys are gonna give us a two week extension on this one. Only fitting for the ultimate procrastinators campaign. In all seriousness the holidays have kept me busy that and the decal issues. I know that I cannot finish in 8 days, no matter what. Please. Cheers.

Alan- The LCP looks outstanding, the addition of figures really gives a sense of scale!
I'll ask for a 2 week extension for our campaigners..the holidays really put a damper on our build time!
Happy Holidays

Got a crew painted and I'm going to call this done.
This was a very enjoyable campaign and I hope for more opportunities to finish kits that are sitting in the "in progress pile".

Jeff, I'd still target to finish per set timeline, but I surely welcome any extension that may be given.
Ian, Rob, thanks for the comments -- it was quite a tedious paint job for me that made me miss the original campaign it was for.
A couple pics from where it was last before the holiday weekend kicked in:
Merry Christmas to everyone, and all the best for new year ahead!

If you upload an image and Kitmaker Gallery says it all went well but the image doesn't show up, it is usually because the image is too big. Try using a graphics program to scale it down and upload again.
Uploading is working for me.

Mike- your 88 looks fantastic! I'm usually into modern stuff, but your 88 build makes me want to attempt one!

Well the Leopard 2A6 is a wrap and posted in the gallery......finally. The following improvements/additions were made:
-Hobby Boss long barrel 120mm added because the kit barrel is still MIA to this day.
-Reconfigured smoke discharger rack to reflect a later model -2A6
-Added Trumpeter stowage
-Gauze camo netting added with spices representing the leaves
-Added Woodland Scenics pine boughs
-Weathered with CMK and MIG Pigments
I really enjoyed this campaign and thanks for putting it on. This Leopard was really in a pathetic state on my work bench and this campaign got me motivated to "GET-R-DONE". Great work everybody!!!
Regards, Ian

Thanks for the kind words John!!! I am actually glad I got it completed instead of it sitting on the sidelines collecting dust with no main gun. Thanks again!
