Phill,
and I havent even delved into my "really weird" files yet .
#010 is the Aghnides Amphibious "Roller"/"Rhino"/"Polywog", US Army showed interest in the concept and looked at it but never oficially tested or evaluated, what they thought it would be useful for - who knows .
Just trolling through the files finding a few vehicles that could be built from a base kit (try and inspire and get that elusive 10th person ). Unfortunately most of the things I like require some hardcore scratchbuilding so might not be suitable for even the "kitbashers" .

Casper.....
I agree with you to an extent. I am sure that most people would be looking to do some minor/major/extreme scratch building. However, as we are ok with the Landwasserschlepper (and I have no problems with it) I can see several other things that are either available as kits or fairly minor conversions that should make it easy for those that don't want to do any scratch building...
s.IG33 auf Fgst.Pz.Kpfw.III
Canal Defense Light
That German mine clearing vehicle
For that matter how about the new kit of the Panzer III's set up for underwater.
The Bergpanther with the Panzer IV turret
The Bergpanther with the antiaircraft gun
I agree that the campaign is looking for the truly odd, the prototype, the stuff you have to build from a pile of plastic and a couple road wheels. However, it isn't limited to that... I think it is also for the odd thing that has been put out as a kit as well.
Ok... I am off the soapbox...

Hey ya guys ,, Ys i think you two are on the right track ,,I am thinking that people reading this are thinking it's scratch building only ..lets clarify this for all the people , NOPE!!! you can build anything ya want be kit already in kit form or kitbashed or scratch built .
The ALKETT VsKfz 617 MINENRÄUMER from Meng is more than welcome .
Anything strange or weird is what this campaign idea is about . still looking for that 10th .
There's 3 version's of the Landwassershelpper that Dragon do and all of them apply here too .
If anyone has any questions about what can be used only have to ask .
Phill

This sounds way COOL!
I'm IN on this, IF my anticipated vehicle kit actually does hit the streets in time...!
HobbyBoss is apparently coming out with a styrene 1/35 German Sauer Sd.Kfz. 254...! (Pic posted over on Track-Link)
The Sd.Kfz 254 was a small "convertible" armored carrier about the size of the SdKfz 250. Produced by the Sauer company, this vehicle could switch from driven wheels to tracks as desired. The small number made mostly saw action in North Africa, where they served as command and commo vehicles. As production, in-service vehicles go, this surely counts as an oddity! Ugly, too. Oh, and did I say it was odd?

Phill,
Have you posted a notification about the Proposed Campaign in the Scratch Builders Forum? Some of those guys might not come out to the main Armorama page. It would also give them a chance to show off some of their skills to the rest of the guys on the site...

With so many campaigns starting in March, I changed the start month to April. Somehow it also seems to fit that April 1 (April Fool's Day) would be the starting date for this campaign.

Gary, you're right about the April Fools, but you seem to have gotten the wrong link-- that one is for editing I think, because I just get a screen telling me I'm not authorized to edit.
Anyway, I went through the Campaigns tab and signed up #2!
Thanks all!

Phill....
I go with "Mind over Matter".....
If you don't mind, it don't matter!
Actually the new start date should give me time to finish the Dragon OOB Campaign entry and have the deck cleared to start this one. Am looking forward to this as it seems like it will be a lot of fun, especially as I have been reading over the What If Campaign..... I am going to have to up my game if I am going to play with you guys....
Oh, can you take the "Proposal" out of the title?
Bob

Phill,
I would think that Gary Kato would be a resource on changing the name now that we are an official campaign. Never got involved with the running them end of the campaign.... heck, this will be my third so it isn't like I have a vast store of information to tap.
With your philosophy of "If it ain't broken, fix it till it is " you must have a lot of Duct Tape on hand.
