Some very nice photos. Although I would really like to know what a couple of them are... they are the first and third mentioned below...

The first of the prototypes and weird things caught my eye... looks like a green electric train engine on wheels... any idea of the who and what of this one?

The two photos below that appear to be an M-44 series vehicle, and with the right information it looks very buildable.

The third is just above the An-12 on two T-62 chassis.... looks like a very sad beagle for some reason... any idea of the who and what of this one?

Some very nice ideas. I got to poking around and if I go off the deep end completely I happen to have a 1/24th scale Vespa scooter in the stack. All I would need to do is scratch build a recoilless rifle and some ammo containers. Would actually be more likely to build the M-44...

Evening gents ... Bob if memory serves me right the second pic is what you think it is kinda .. its a 12x12 Mobil generator ,the hull is a converted train engine and its got a huge (i think ) V12 engine in the middle .
I think only two were ever built and both a sitting there rusting away and being stripped for parts .hence why the wheels are out of wack ,some suspension parts been nicked of it .
The AN12 sitting on the two T 62 chassis's is anyones guess and man talk about a over heavy landing gear .

Well, I figured out what the sad beagle was....

Terrängbil m/42 KP (Tgbil m/42 SKP/VKP), meaning "Off-road vehicle [19]42" with a secondary designation of "Scania Bodywork, Armoured" or "Volvo Bodywork, Armoured", was the Swedish army's first armoured personnel carrier, developed as a stop-gap measure during World War II.

Even saw service....

The KP saw combat with Swedish UN forces during the Congo Crisis in the 1960s (Scania variant only). 15 KPs were also bought by the UN and used by the Indian and Irish battalions in Congo. An armoured, open top turret for the machine gunner was added to the KPs in Congo after a number of gunners were shot in the abdomen. KPs were also deployed by United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus during the Cypriot intercommunal violence

The issue was not in finding it.... I just put in some search terms and looked at photos until I found it. The issue was all the other photos....... oh there are some real odd ones out there. I keep finding things I want to build and now have more candidates for this campaign than I have styrene...

Same problem here Bob and now looking at the Armorama home page i see a conversion for a T34 to turn it into a T34-100 ,,ok nothing strange about that but its cool and i am going to build there one way or another .
Ya know i think i have created a sort of monster here with all the ideas we want to build its driving us nuts which in todays world aint a good thing .
Oh well guess we can live with it

I am seriously considering knocking out something quick and simple to qualify for the ribbon (be a real let down not to even earn a ribbon I designed ) and then dive into a more complex build for the rest of the time. As if I don't already have some lengthy builds lined up...

However, I am seriously looking at the M-44 or M-75 as I can use the running gear from a M-41 and go from there. Be something different from the normal Panzers I have been building...

Figure that I can do something like the post-war Czech drivers training vehicle based on the Hetzer moderately quickly and that would allow me time to play with either the Danish BARV or scratch building either a M44 or M75 personnel carrier. Well, that is the semi-congealed plan in my fevered little mind....

Well i know one machine i will be building and thats the T64 based load carrier ,i have one of the old Skif kits so that will be used .to me its a very cool looking vehicle so gotta build it
But for the ribbon its gonna be the T17 or 16 half track ,nice ,easy but still cool .

Not sure if either the M44 or the M75 were Weird or Strange enough.... HOWEVER.....



This puppy has to be..... If I can find the information needed I might just have to give it a shot... It is a Type 76 Counter-Battery Radar of the JGSDF... Would start with the tow vehicle first and then see about the radar trailer.

I have to admit even if I never get anything built that I am having a heck of a lot of fun looking, imagining and overall just planning. I think you deserve a big THANK YOU for the idea...

Oh dude that Type 76 Counter-Battery Radar is bloody cool , i think the chassis is based on one of their APC's cause the road wheels look too small for it to be a tank hull they used .
Screw the APC's man that is way cooler

Wonder in that layout if its any good doing any serious off road work .

Yep, I think it is based on the Type 73... which the only kit I know about for that is a conversion from Etokin that runs way to much for me. They also have a Type 78 ARV that I would love to have.... but no way can I put that much into a model.

However, according to some drawings I found for the Type 75 MRL based on the same APC I can still use the Type 74 MBT road wheels, etc. All I have to do is make the model in 1/30th rather than 1/35th... which I don't see as a big difficulty actually. Most of the tools, etc. are fairly simple or can be modified from 1/32nd scale stuff.

Vincent..... definitely some wild ones you are showing us. Have to admit I just sat and looked at that last one for a while...
