Hey Gary, their are far worse directions out there. Take miniman factory for instant, over half of their parts are not even called out in the directions and give you a sketchy hand drawn direction. Also don’t forget about mig productions and their crappy photograph of a finished model they call directions. Talk about pulling your hair out
Well everyone, guess what…………I’m done with the assembly part of the build. Now I can concentrate on painting and I have a great Egyptian scheme to go with. I still have to finish up the B-11 on the deck, but not a real big issue.

Hey Jeff right now, just the vehicle.I'm still going to add gear and figures to the tank. But I might do a dio later, with an UN jeep and figures.

Chris, by later you mean next week right ?
This Campaign ends next Tuesday, everybody's finished so far...except you and Gary. what's up ? Why are you taking so long ?
I gave you so many extensions to finish it...I don't understand
You better hurry because Gary's done the Puma suspension, so in a couple of days he's over too.

Yeah, we're going to add a preamble to the start/stop dates from now on and just say for (Gary and Chris it's one week) that way we can let the race horses go.
Unless they started early? Nah, they wouldn't do that... would they?

Jeff have you decided how your going to build your VAB? I know you talked about possibly doing it with different markings than what came in the kit.

Okay! Here's my official start picture with AM wheels!
Looks like an easy shake N bake kit! Don't even know if it has an interior (but I do believe I read somewhere there is).
Hey Chris, John said the different decals would be okay... so there it is. A Bulgarian VAB 6X6. They were intended for my M1117 Guardian BUT, I already painted the wheels one way and they look so sweet and hate to change them. AND, then since the VAB's decals in the kit are so boring I just thought the Bulgarian decals and flags would look better on this build. We'll just say it's a French gift to Bulgaria!
It deserves a special paint job now.

Sweet Jeff, glad to see you join the club. Glad to see those wheels got a very good home. I was looking at my Djiti set and the have better sidewall details than the blast set, but lack manufacture's logos.
Hey just a heads up, your going to have some fit problems with the 2 wooden floor boards in the rear interior part number 103. Their to wide and overlap each other.
For discussion only
Good luck with your build

Merci ! J'ai vecu à Bruxelles dans les années 80, c'était que je suis devenu un "Plasticohlic"
@Gary
Don't rush it Gary, Chris has won ..
he is the official Michael Phelps of this Campaign !
My progress on the 223. I didn't touch the BMP-3 because I ran out of Superglue and there's already some PE on the next few steps..

Gary and John nice progress guys. So far Gary is beating John out on his build.
Gary does your kit actually come with an interior? I thought the puma kit was the only one that did not come with one out of the newer 8 rad series.
Jimmy good choice buddy, almost got that kit awhile back, but instead went with their PB version. It’s a great kit and builds up easily and has great details on it.
Well guys, I’ve got the basic painting done tonight.
First stage- primer using Vallejo surface primer grey. Followed by pre-shadowing using Vallejo model air black grey.
Second stage- Base color using Vallejo model air sand.
Third stage- Green camo using Vallejo model air Russian green.
Final stage- Brown camo using Vallejo leather belt. I’ve also picked out each fuel tank in a different green to break up the overall look.

Hey Chris,
Yes the Puma comes with some interior, the basics. Im going to build it all hatches closed or with one half fig in the turret so no sence in me going all in for the interior.
Dude, that paint job is sweet!!! Nice job Chris.

Cool, I wasn't sure about the interior part. Figure they would skip the part since dragon is known for cutting corning and omitting parts from previous kits.
Glad you like the paint job I still need to go back and fade the green and brown a bit since everything will darken up from the filters and washes.

Hi Guys. I´d also like to get into this campaign, if possible. I think its just the right incentive to get back modelling again. I started Tamiya´s M20 about 4 years ago and its been in a box since then. No exterior work has been carried out in the kit so far .... the only thing that has been done is in the interior.
The kit;
2008 work - nothing painted
Hopefully its Ok to proceed with this, as part of this campaign?
The exterior will have a resicast steering set, blast stowage, aber etch, Verlinden winter set and TWS chained wheels.

Hi all,
I missed the start of this campaign, I´m all caught up
with a real bad kit on the Tank Destroyer/SPG camp. So
I started my Cougar today as sort of chill out to recover
from that monster of a Waffenträger
I started at 15:30 this afternoon and this is the progress
till now:
All I can say is wow, why can´t all kits go together like this
Real good stuff happening here, just hope the campaign goes
on a while longer the way some of these builds are going
(speed building). Or this an Olympic sport and I screwed up cause I missed the start shot

I agree with you on how easy the build is, I'm doing the grizzly right now as well.
However the cougar is neither an APC or an AFV it's a tank trainer (mini tank). just sayin' Mods can rule on this one.
