However the cougar is neither an APC or an AFV it's a tank trainer (mini tank). just sayin' Mods can rule on this one.
Well John what´s is your opinion? Should I step down with this build ?
I guess I should of checked the net first.
Paul

@ christopher
I like the colours so far.
@ Frank Glackin
Frank, you have done a terrific job with the M20, but I'm sorry to say your build is really too advanced.
if you have another kit to apply that's ok.
Get the M20 and join the "Get 'er Done Mk3" Campaign.
@Paul
I agree with Gary too, it's ok !

Well, after being shelled by incoming artillery in the shape of messages and requests to let Frank in the game...
My heart melted like plastic and I reconsidered, since I'm kind as a Kubelwagen and sympathetic like JSU-152
I know how hard it is to get back into modeling again
with one simple condition... Frank, you can't finish it before Chris & Gary..
... and it would be nice to join one of my other Campaigns

What you talking about John, I'm already done
Just kidding, actually I haven't worked any on it today, but I did start painting figures lastnight.
Frank your M20 looks pretty sweet. Welcome back to the hobby and what a great pick up point

Matt,
Thanks for the offer but I will have a bunch of stuff left over after all the PE.
Paul,
Don't worry about the campaign ending any time soon
I have barely done anything and there is a lot of parts to this and that's not even counting the PE.
Cheers Rob.

Welcome aboard Frank!!!

Gary I think I will be finished tomorrow
NOT. I haven't watched a single moment of the olympics, too many drama queens for my taste. I get side tracked by WOT more than anything else.
Craig I do have to say I have a soft spot for the M113. The museum I used to work at in Austin, the 113 was the first tank I learned to drive.

Darren your lav is looking good so far. I think everyone has the same problems with phot etch part. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of them, but I'll use them if I have to. I prefer to scratch build the parts I need, that way if I loose one, I can always make a new part.
Keep up the good work

Hi all,
Looking through my stash tonight I spotted the Italeri 234/2 Puma and I would love to build it, as I have never built this vehicle before. Will this count for the campaign?
Cheers

other than a few details that will be put on after painting, she's done. While "inspired" by the GGT, i added some parts for their coolness factor. (it still looks like a Grizzly).
@ Paul welcome. sorry for the confusion when i saw AFV i was thinking IFV, AFV pretty much covers anything with armour and a gun. I agree with you these kits are good to build, almost "falling" together.

Gents I am after some help; does anyone have 6 working modern tool clamps that I could have or swop something for? The clamps in this Eduard set are a single piece and not nice to look at or bend.

Here is the part in question and as you can imagine building a part that size with a single piece of PE is a terrible idea.

@Darren
Oh I see, well I only have some of those parts in plastic from some spares and they are attached to the tools..
Hope you can find the right PE parts.
@Gary
That's perfect ! Make sure the wheels are well aligned.
At that stage it wouls be nice to have the wheels turned to one of the sides..
Just messin' with your build Gary.. it looks great !!!!

Ian - love the grizzly, looks pretty good so far. Did you have any issues with the kit? I built their cougar kit awhile back and broke a few parts while trying to assemble it. I’ve been thinking about get one, but so many other kits to build first.
Gary - some good progress so far, can’t wait to se some paint.
Well guys, here’s were things start to slow down for me………..the weathering process. I’ve manage to do a basic filter using mig brown for desert yellow. Followed by oil fading using naples yellow and streak grime from ak. The decals came from trumpeter’s zil-157 kit and I will be adding some photo etch license plates for the only other markings.
Here is some of the figures I will be using, tow of them are from mig and the other is unknown from the spare parts bin.
Cheers
