Mike ,,Yup your memory is still working ..its a Jagdpanzer IV/70 A (Alkett) .
The barrel clamp on these are more like a very large n and i do have a slight feeling your getting your panzer IV jagd's slighty crossed ,,the one which looks the STuG is the Jagdpanzer IV L70 ..a very different vehicle .
The Jagdpanzer IV/70A looks more like they just stuck a box on top of a panzer IV hull and stuffed a gun in it
I like em cause they look so nasty

The infamous Sd.Kfz. 162/1 Jagdpanzer IV L/70A "Zwischen Losung"
There are a few versions of the Jagdpanzer IV too with the L70 and L48 as well as the superstructure.
This should be startin' up soon, huh Phill?

There are too many to choose from, that's for sure!
I have the old Dragon Zwischen Losung I need to build BUT, I have those 2 SPG's I already selected!
Oh well, break's over with. Back to work, err building.

Hey Jeff,
I just got the Cyberhobby version of that Jagdpanzer IV/70(A), http://www.scalehobbyist.com/images/products/CHC/CHC00009127/CHC00009127_3_l.jpg
I might go with that 1 here, but I like that photo so I might use it in the Modeling a Photo 2 Campaign instead
Your right so many to choose from

Yeah, "they" all say that my kit is a dog and out of date. I'm sure compared to a Smart Kit it is but it also depends on whos putting it together too.
I'm sure it will look good on either Campaign. I still have yet to select mine. The MBT "flying" in the air is cool and I can stage that, but the problem is that it's just of the tank and nothing else and no background.
For this Campaign it'll be a dual one I guess. I'm really itching to take measurements off the Geschutzwagen and make a 1/16 model out of it.
Full RC too.

Hi Guys,
Well it not that big ugly thing Phill wants to make
But it also not on the photos Jeff posted, I may just have to eyeball scratch measure it.
My best guess in that case would be that the cradle is made to a height to allow the gun to sit horizontaly straight so to speak??
Cheers Mike

Hi all I hope it's not too late to jump in on this one because I just picked up the Tamiya 1:35 Jagdtiger with markings to represent the one belonging to the tank ace Otto Carius of the 512th heavt anti tank bn in April 1945

I just remembered I have a 1/35 Tamiya Hetzer that needs to be built. If I can dig it out in time I'll build that instead of the 1/48 M10.

ROTFLMAO!!!!! I stepped down from the AE position so I now have more time for a couple more Campaigns! I might not be responding much this weekend because I lost my MW and really have to build these kits now.

I agree with Sal, and also is the only way I found to shrink my stash.
I can actually see the pile of boxes getting lower... more space to buy some new kits too..

then it will be time to buy more.

Phill, the last Tank Destoryer Campaign had a panzer in the cross hairs of a gun sight You can see it below top line 3rd from the right
