Paul, do you know if that Castoff conversion is still available and if so where are the vendors? I am going to steer clear of the Accurate Armour Conversion and had entertained the idea of scratchbuilding what I needed to update the kit to a MK 9 Chieftain. I looked up that Castoff set and it looked pretty good. Just curious.

Yeah Rob... That's it. Thanks. I must have missed it when I was looking them up. I might have to order that. A lot cheaper than the Accurate Armour conversion.

Best wishes, Ian

Hi Ian,
see you´ve gotten the link to Castoff so that´s sorted.
Send a PM to LifeGuardtrooper alias Terry Beale from Castoff. You never know, if you tell him your doing the build for this campaign and there´s a second conversion in here too, you might get a deal out of it. He also posted that he would to get some pics of the built up stuff for his web site:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/193224&page=1
Happy modelling all

I just stumbled across this campaign. Great! It gives me an excuse to crack the box on my T-64. I'm in!

I'm still going with the 1/35 Trumpeter Swedish Strv-103B. I'll probably build it staright out of the box. Starter picture below. I didn't see anything about it needing to be dated.

Well here is my project. Legends M48A1 that I will build into one stationed at the Fulda Gap during the early 60’s. I’ll be using Tamiya’s M48 lower hull and suspension, track parts, and Barrel Depot metal barrel. It’s a pretty sweet kit and looks like it should go together really well. Depending on my time and how well this kit builds up, I also have a Centurion MK.V I’m looking at building.

Well I’ve started some of my build last night, started on the lower hull and suspension. I did run into a slight problem with legends conversion kit. The rear lower hull plate had shrunk some and did not fit at all. Very easy fix, just cut the part in half and spliced a plastic spacer in between. Also here is my inspiration for my project. Found some great pictures of the M48A1 station in Germany with some interesting markings.

I'm doing this project as a farewell to the Skif kit. I will add bits and pieces left from other projects.

Hi Phil, waht do you mean with ca
Cables or cat
I only do cables when my cat is out of the room otherwise they become instant toys for her to run off with
and hide or loose Annoying at first but the chewed up remnats sometimes look quite good
I´ll join in soon, gotta get the Photo 2 and Proxy campaigns out of the way first

Paul, I think "ca" means super glue. Which super glue and a cat is bad news as well.

Anyway, I cracked open the S-Tank last night. I wanted to get a little build time in on it. I basically just got the suspension arms on and opened some holes on the upper hull. I will take pictures as I go and post as a get a decent sized batch done.
