I agree with all & if you add the AK47 family you can easily see were Ian Fleming got the title from Russia with love from lol, It would be funny if you lined all three of these weapons end on end how many times they would circle the world.

Like Gary, I'm also itching to get started on my build.
Broke the saladin kit out this afternoon to play around with it, test fit and see what areas I need to work on the most. I'm also working out what lebanese troops I want to use. Should be interesting since they were a rag tag goup mixed with civilian, russian, syrian and israeli equipment.
I also got a huge package in the mail that I will pick up from work tonight......firefly, centurion, and a bunch of figures

Okay, dug the kit out and I'm ready.
Semi-cleaned up the area as I just finished a Glow-In-The-Dark USS Starship Enterprise that all that's left is the massive decals to place.
This sheet is as big as the box!
Anyway, I've been looking forward to building this as I am on strike 2 as far as wheeled vehicles go.

Okay, first order of the day is to open the box and let the moths out!
Decals still look good!
Man, they don't make instructions like THIS anymore.
Later!

Here's the starter picture. It's the CyberHobby T-34/85M. With "M" meaning it's the export version. I'm still doing it as a Somali vehicle. I figure I'll depict a weary looking vehicle.
Jeff, looking forward to see that one built. I had an opportunity to buy two of those kits a few years ago for next to nothing and passed on them in favor of buying a kit that even now sits in my stash taunting me for buying it instead, as well as my use of run-on sentences. And I agree, those old instruction sheets were real gems.
Gary, Which version you going with? Soviet or Polish? The biggest differences between them are the fuel tanks and the spare track attached to the rear-side hatches. And you might want to wait before adding the PE fender flaps and the main gun spotlight. The exhaust can be a bit fidgety.
