I will accept destroyed vehicles too, so no need to spend anymore money.

small update:
the Tristar has a small gap, wasn't expecting it.
the rest fitted perfectly, anyway filled it. Let's see how it turns out.

John:
Hi.
Uh oh. I am sure that you will not like this. But... Truth is, that front hull plate with that access hatch fits down behind the hull front.
Take a look at this front-plates view of my build of this same E/F kit - you will see that the rivet line fits back behind the edge of the front plate. It WILL be a nice, snug fit into the space. On the real deal, that front plate edge actually stickes up a smidgeon above the hatch plate.
Sorry to have to bring you this ugly news! But you can pop that out and fix it now, before going further with details and paint
Bob

Fixed
Now clean up..
Thanks Bob !
One question, did you put the fenders on after or before adding the tracks & wheels ?
It seems a little too tight to fit the tracks on after putting the fenders..

John:
The short answer is YES, I put my fenders on before doing up the tracks.
The way I do things track-wise is to soft-tack the sprocket, idler, and roadies on, and assemble my link track-runs. While still soft and pliable, I wiggle them onto the gear and prop things in place with tissue balls and such and let the whole thing set up completely. I then pop all the gear and track off, paint the gear and put the gear on - with that sprocket lose. I paint and weather the tracks, fit my finished sprocket into the curved front end of my track loop, and shove the whole thing into place. The biggest fuss is usually trying to get the track over the return rollers - but there IS enough clearance if you do things carefully-but-firmly!
The key part is to have that sprocket free to move and be removed until final assembly. I do this so that I can fiddle around with my fenders and make sure I am happy with all the fit and bends before tracking it up.

I finished construction on my 1/144 scale Dragon kit. It is very small. Next step-painting.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

@John-Next to a 1/16 model you won't even be able to see it. Didn't know what I got myself into.
Here's the first painting step, a coat of flat black Acryl
Next a coat of Light Gray mixed with some Gray Black, eyeballed to an approximate shade.
That's it for now. I'll take a look at it again in a couple of weeks.
Take care,

Ugh, ok. I'm in!
This is the 10th campaign I'm currently in for this year. Not sure if I'll finish them all since I have a 7 month old at home. But, this one should get done. I pulled this old guy out, and it's already on the work bench.
Gonna make it the famous "Lausbub" from LSSAH in Kharkov. Eventually it will be with some Parka-clad infantry in a dio.
Thanks for putting together an irresistible campaign!

Update on the Hetzer.
By now the instructions are merely an act of wishful thinking. I've completely abandoned any preset order of assembly and went straight for the basic painting. The kit comes with precut masks and I really didn't want to knock off pieces with them.
I painted the hull PollyS Olive Green. Let it dry. Then started masking.
Then came the PollyS Panzer Red/Brown.
For whatever reason I didn't get a shot of the dark yellow being applied. But here she is with the maskign all removed.
Here's where the colorblind thing comes into play. Under normal light, I have a very difficult time seeing the difference between the green and red-brown on the vehicle. The two colors on the roadswheels isn't an issue because the black rubber gives a set comparison color. I can see them a good deal better in the pictures.
For the tracks I decided to try something a bit different. The kit comes with length & link tracks, which I generally dislike. I sprayed a base coat of Rustoleum Anodized Bronze. According to the paint lady at Lowes it's a grayish brown color. Given there are only a few attachment points, I sprayed them before assembly. I would have waiting until after assembly with regular individual links just to save cleanup time.
Tracks on. I had planned on having the hatche open with a figure but the position of the remote MG really boogers that up. So I decided to button it up.
Wrapping her up. The last step in painting are the dot things. I painted these by hand.
And with that, I am declaring this one done. She still needs a little bit of touch-up. I don't think I'll be doing much in the way of washes and wear. The whole colorblindness thing really factored into that decision. This is my first Ambush Scheme and I really don't want to risk messing it up.
