Thanks Greg !
Still working on the tiny details on the hull, PE chains & spare tracks.
And I started working on the turret.
The details on the MG & main gun are great, I won't use the metal barrel & MG, I'll use them on a Dragon's Pz38 S version.

I used Maskol - hate it! It's still leaves a residue after a long time picking it off every which a way. I'll hand paint the yellow me thinks.

Nice job so far Greg!
Here's my small progress...
The hull still needs 2 tiny PE parts before getting a coat of Primer.
-- These Tristar kits are amazing ... --

Greg C-C;
Nice-looking Jgdpz 38! Now that things are toned down and weathered a bit, it is looking quite the little (used) killer!
PS: Tiny PE should NEVER be given to birds! Some are already brash and brassie enough without it, and the rest are just going to get all frustrated with picking the bits outta their bills!
@John;
The turret is looking good!
Yeah... those little lock-hasp bits beside the radio-op's hatch were quite the little pain in the b. I skipped attaching that lock (which actually, being a 0.003 inch - thick piece of brass, does NOT look much like a real lock when seen from any side other than face-on), but the 2 hasp pieces do look mighty nice when glued on. So, easy does it with the glue and patience as you go! Been exactly there and done that, friend.

Greg, great looking camouflage.
Sal, the interior looks nice and busy. Looking forward to see more.
John, nice progress.
I have chosen my kit for this campaign. The trumpeter offering. I am planning to use some fruilmodel tracks for this kit as well. They are on the way in the mail.
Starting is still a couple of weeks away, but at least I have decided my kit

The tracks actually look pretty good. Link and length. I just wanted to try some fruilmodel tracks for this build.
Tat, cool choice. I have never build it, but heard the fit of the hull leaves something to be desired. Dry fitting is the name of the game I think

Hey, thanks for the heads-up Jesper!
Actually, I have been googling for any build logs, but so far have come up with none. Anyways have decided to take the plunge, so we'll see how it goes. Good luck on your build
Cheers,
Tat

Finding more time to do some builds, this is where I'm at.
Just a few more smaller parts to add and it will be ready for some paint.
Cheers

Hi Paul,
It's a decal, a great decal sheet that came with the Tristar kit.
Infact, so good that I'll use them on a 'what if' VK 3001 in Slovakian markings...
Paul, you're lucky I forgot that engine on the Protection Campaign..
But not here...
