My ugly Otter is nearing completion, some more detail paining, weathering and maybe some stowage to go:
The roof isn't tight fitting as I am leaving it removable to view the interior

You know what happend the ugly duckling Colin....it's coming along very well.
Finally got to sepnd some time on my Revell Dingo 2:
most of the 3rd shade still to be done and the doors to be re-done. Had them in wrong place initially but at least they are not glued in place.

Dear all,
I'm building a D-944 for this campaign
Some images:
I'll update the photos as soon as I have some time to take some more. (It's almost ready now.)

It always made me think why a police force needed a turreted armored car with a heavy machine gun turret. (They also used it for border patrol.)

I'm calling this one done, an ungainly looking vehicle and a challenging build. Photos up in the campaign gallery
Cheers

Your right about it looking a bit ungainly, but you've done a fantastic job on it Colin.

I like Colin....a strange looking beast but a great build.
As for my Revell Dingo the camo is finished and an overall light sand wash applied to tone it down:
Next will be darker sand pin wash around bolts, hinges, panel lines etc

Great work guys !!!
Sal, it's a little late but you should have started painting the interior before adding some of the details ( steering wheels, seats.. ) with all the small parts and very nice detailing Dragon put into those 234 series, it's very easy to break some parts while painting the interior.
Pay attention and be careful while doing it.
Also pay attention to the hatches & clear parts provided, the instructions are... Dragon style.

Full afternoon at the bench, managed to get back to Bronco's M1114, and another 7 Campaign builds...
Some work on interior details,
A little touch up on the seats too.
And will start the PE mud guards, the front ones are made with 4 PE parts each ..
