Continued heavy chipping the 232 where crew enter/exit the vehicle, applied AK dust to wheels, finishing packs, tools, etc.

I like that weathering Dan. Really makes it look well used in a stoney desert

Got some more bench time in and finished up my Otter to the point where it is ready for paint. Ammo boxes under the gunners seat:
Roof with gunners seat installed, plus overhead padding:
tools from the spares box (why can't they provide them as part of the kit instead of an extra cost "detail kit"???)
Side steps from piano wire:
Ready to go! just have to mask off the interior.
With the complexity of the undercarriage I'll re-prime with black, shadows will look more natural if I can't get into all the nooks and crannies.

Primed and painted. I have been seeing so much about this "colour modulation" technique I decided to give it a try...
Second picture seems to show more contrast, maybe its just the lighting angle. I kinda like how it turned out, certainly gives things more depth. We'll see how it looks after Future, decals and dullcoat.

Enjoying all the nice work and detailed work. Update on current project 232 RAD 8 - Decals are done, adding personal gear, tools, storage, painting the small details. Planning on applying a filter, then a few washes to bring out the details. Photos

Colin - Your Otter looks great, another one that resides in the stash that I have to get done
Rodolfo - Your showing a lot of perseverance with what was not the worlds best kit
Dan - looking forward to seeing what you do for final weathering on your 232
I've put my 222 on a simple base and am calling it done.

Hello friends!
Here is my Mexican vehicle finished. I hope you like it.
Only I added lights of Greif. This time without weathering because the Mexican vehicles normally are inmaculate, sorry :-[
