Howdy Y'all
Good work folks. I really loved this campaign.
@Sal-Nice! How hard are those Dragon 234 kits? I've got one in the staff, at the bottom, but never really seriously considered building it yet. I'm probably saving it for retirement.
@Jose-Good to see you back my friend. I don't want to be the only 1/72 Italeri M-8 in the campaign. Make sure the tires all touch the ground-that's where I messed up.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Thanks John -- good to see you're nicely forging ahead. You seem to be in good shape to finish on time.
Early this morning I sprayed on a black coat and will give it a day to dry. Go to work and earn some hobby money -- he he. Hope to start the panzer grey tomorrow and progress to finish as well. Crunch time is looming ahead
Cheers,
Tat

I'm in with Italeri's Staghound, looks a nice simple build, so even I shouldn't worry about time
I have one question though, what colour would a Staghound in Normandy have been, American OD or British army green? And if green then which Revell shade comes closest?

@Sal: nice camo, I have been hand brushing my AC since the airbrush decided not to work and I was too lazy to see what was wrong.
@Tat: looks like we are building the same kit only your build looks so much better than mine. Did you find the plastic a little too soft?
@John: like the camo on that Bushmaster.

Thanks Bob. Indeed the plastic was soft, and so are some of the surface details. Add to that were the alignment issues I had. It could have been better but am not really complaining as the kit's been of the older generation I'd say. I've since put on the base panzer grey color using a rattle can -- looking forward to the weekend to get some work on it.
Nice finish Roman -- I like the way the tones come into play.
Cheers, Tat

Hi Luca, Hi guys,
I joined the armored car campaign !
I do partecipate with my 1/35 sd.kfz.223 Leichter pz.spahwagen (Fu), Tamiya kit, just yesterday received.
Yes, it is a ''classic'' thing, nothing unusual. But actually I like this one.
I'll start working during weekend and hoping upload pictures soon !
Regards
Giovanni

Thanks Giovanni they are marking that came with the kit directions state Ulrich von Hutten Division, Germany 1945. It appears that this was a training division that saw a little action before the end of the war

Lovely job Stephen!
Those twins are coming along nicely Martin. Why did you go for different shades?
A nice little 223 Giovanni....I wish I had time to spend 2 hours a night! But that's life.
Sal, that's looking great. Will be nice when weathered and less shiney. The figure really suits

Hi Stephen, your sd.kfz.222 is really good. I like it. For my curiosity, do you have some reference for the plate fitted on front ? Normally on front the put the rectangular small one.
Thanks !
