I'm in as the other campaign I'm in is waiting on some PR. I have a 250/9 kit that I'm going to use.

I had not planned on starting this one yet, but I had to re-shoot some white for another campaign. I went ahead and set up to spray the interior of this one.
The lower hull is a multi-piece deal. It required a lot of clean-up. Except for one gap, it actually went together fairly well. The hull interior has a great deal of detail. It's a shame AFV Club didn't include an engine, tranny, or the driver and radio operator's stations. Especially since this is tagged as a limited edition kit.
Turret. I added the turret wall details. There's not a lot.
And of course the paint. I'm pretty sure I missed something.
And that's it for now.

Hello All,
Sorry I have been gone for so long. I am battling bone cancer for the last 1 and a half years. lots for chemmo, pain killers, and blood transfusings.
I wish to thank jeremy for taking over blitz 5 and getting it off the ground and taking my rambling thoughts and turning them into a great campaign.
I see Randy has joined up. I do not think he has missed any Blitz campaign, yet.
If it is O.K. with all of you, I would like to join the campaign? I have not built a model in almost 3 years so this will be like my first one.
Jeremy is right, I like to have my campaigns open and very large timeline and be as free as i can for the modeler so they can strech themselves as far as they can with thier models and stay just inside of the rules.
Cheers,
Bruce

Hi Bruce. Hadn't heard from you in a while and was wondering how you were getting along. I hope that all goes well with your health. My best wishes are with you.

No need for you to ask Bruce. Glad that you are able to take part. Besides.....this series of campaigns was your idea. I am happy that you will be working on something.
Very happy that you are back in the forums.

Hello Randy,
The Blitz idea was another members idea and he asked me to be his XO for Blitz 1. He had alot of family problems and asked me to become the campaign leader and the rest is Armourama History.
I wonder if this is the longest runing type campaign in site History. I would guess Big Jim would know.
I did not see you at Big Jim house for T-Day dinner. i guess you spent it with family. there were about 1000 of us there, I was hoping to meet you. Maybe for the New Year Eve's party, you did get your invite, right.
Jeremy has asked me to take Blitz 5 back over, so be ready for a tough task master.
Cjheers to all and happy T-Day,
Bruce

Here is the next in-progress photo of my Tamiya M8 Howitzer Motor carriage.
It has been a while since I done any assembly work so I enjoyed getting to work on this. I was hoping to get the base coat of Olive Drab on it today but the weather is too cold outside for painting.
I like the ribbon Bruce. It will look good with my other Blitz ribbons.

Update on the Stuart.
I had sprayed the interior flat white. I added a dark wash.
The instructions don't differentiate between which wheels to use. Luckily I have a few pictures of Carol as well as a color drawing. I actually had the spoked wheels on and only caught it after looking the vehicle up to see which type of sprocket to use. Fun time pulling those apart, fortunately no casualties. The instructions also don't mention the grease points for the solid wheels. These and some nuts & bolts are molded to the sprues and must be shaved off. I'm guessing I got the correct ones. The ones I used required a lot of trimming to fit.
Running gerar all assembled.
The more I work on this, the more disappointed I am. This was tagged as a limited addition kit. I would have expected some wow to it. Worse, there are actually location holes in the interior for some sort of interior. I don't know if one was planned and they decided against it or what.

Hi Sal,good to hear from you, your Tiger is off to a good start.
I knew I wouldn't be able to exactly duplicate 007's distinctive 3-tone camo, but it looks decent anyway.Next up will be the weathering process.I also assembled and treated the Fruils with AK Burnishing Fluid and some AK washes.I like the dark brown color. They still will get some pigments to impart a dusty look along with sanding the high points.
