Here is an in-process photo of the M4A1 Sherman. Hedgerow cutter still to be added.

Here is my entry for the campaign. It is the Dragon Marder III Ausf. M Initial Production DR 6464
Since I am between jobs right now I'll have a ton of time to work on it!
It comes with marking for the 12th SS division so that's what I'll probably paint it up as.

Quite a bit of time on my hands, so I made some progress last week.
For such a small vehicle there is a lot of detail crammed into the fighting compartment!
I have a few details left to add before jumping into assembly of the gun and mount.

It's great to see some progress on the Allied side Tom! How do you like your track jig?
Great choice Guy! The III-M was always my favorite of the series, it was a beautiful design.

The track jig comes from http://hobbytrax.net/
They work as advertised. The rubber band tracks will mold into the proper form and it works great for individual track links.
The only drawback is to make sure the idler wheel is able to move to accommodate the length of the track so there is no gaps.
They are a little pricy, but if you have a big stash of (you fill in your favorite tank) it is worth it. Another possibility is for a club or modelling group to purchase the jig and lend it out as needed.
I highly recommend them.

Here is the start of my project the PaK 43/44 from ARV. A fine detailed kit with lots of small breakable parts. I am tackling it as a many small sub assemblies which will be detailed as I go along. Just too hard to do the weathering at the last as I usually do. Using the hussar resin wheels which do have a large casting nub which I will try and hide. It is cut flush just mangles the tread pattern. I have been enjoying the pics of on-going builds. I will try and get this one done.

Thanks Jeremy, it's been a fun kit so far. Tons of detail for such a small vehicle.
Tom Moon is right about the HobbyTrax jigs work really well, especially helpful with Dragon DS tracks.

I wanted to do the Trumpeter version for this Campaign but I have 3 Campaigns to finish in May, so a Tamyia version will be easier to finish on time.

Well I have been absent for awhile due to some modeling burnout and personal issues but I am back at the work table now. I have got some work done on my Tamiya M8 HMC project and so I wanted to show an in-progress photo.
Hopefully I will be able to post a few more pictures soon. Just waiting on some paint to show up that I ordered.
Thanks,
Randy

OK. I've procrastinated long enough!
I'm jumping into the Normandy affray with the itty bitty Panzer 1-C by HobbyBoss (Yeah... That one. That kit of the cool little tank besaddled by an odd mismatch or misfit between the very tiny link track set and the cool-looking sprocket. ).
But it's the available styrene 1-C, and I'm going for it right now. And mostly OOTB, and I'll fight through those track issues or die trying! (I THINK that I have a solution mapped out that will allow me to use the kit parts at the cost of doing a little surgery. ).
I'm not sure of the scheme, but probably one of the likely 2-color or 3-color schemes associated with this little beast in service with, I think, 22 PzD (or was it 24 PzD?) operating in the Normandy area around and shortly after D-Day.
As a historic note: The Pz 1-C was designed before the war as an airborne tank - maybe among the first such purposefully designed to be used in glider-supported landings. It's key features were a narrow hull and narrow tracks and light weight to allow it to be put into a Gotha glider or even into "Tante Ju", the JU-52 transport plane. It was also perhaps the only AFV built with a semi-auto anti-tank rifle as it's "primary armament"!
Here's my start pic, taken back on FEB 17 2014 and then "misplaced" (I'll NEVER confess to actually losing something ) for a bit!
And the tiny build commences!

Hello All,
I would like to Thank Jeremy for stepping in and Finishing up this Blitz Camapign for me.
On Tuesday, 29 May, I go into Hospital for Heart Surgary and will not be here to award the ribbons.
I hope all of you had fun with this campaign, I have seen some great builds, most that would win at modeling shows.
Again, Thank You Jeremy for finishing this campaign, I owe you a big one.
Cheers,
Bruce
P.S.About the next Blitz camapign, We are heading back east, again. The campaign will be the Finnish-Russian War of 39-49 and the 900 day siege of Liengrad. You will be able to model the finnish troops in the winter war, any Russian troops that fought in either parts of thcampaign. also allowed are captured vehicles, planes, arnored trains, partisens, super heavy arty, etc.
I would suggest you start studing the time periods.
I will list what is allowed when I start a thread for Blitz 6
Cheers,
Bruce

Sean lurking over here. I love the subjects being built for this one.
Harv, I built that kit for the artillery campaign a year or two ago, and just love how it didn't put up a fight at all-- a joy to build! Yours is turning out great. I have its cousin, the Tamiya M3 Stuart, on deck for the current What If Campaign.
Bruce, I'm hoping for a good, quick recovery after your surgery.
Jeremy, I agree with Bruce, awfully nice of you to step in for him.
Tom, I love a good field-applied hedgerow cutter! Excellent subject and execution, too!
Likewise, to Guy, John, Lapman, and the rest.
Cheers!

Yours is turning out great.
Thank you Sean.
Well my basic build is complete. Here is my M8 HMC prior to being weathered.
The next step is to get out the pastels and go to work on getting the nice clean and shiny M8 HMC all dirty and grimy. I should have my final photos posted in a day or two.
Thanks,
Randy
