I might have a play with it as it was a purchase from evilbay and was missing all the glass parts. But as the seller gave me a full refund and did not want it back bonus for me I ordered the desert patrol version(for the clear parts and decals) I may give it a hard top.
Paul
I have extra glass pieces I can help you out with if you want. No charge.

Well, this is a great idea for a campaign. So much to choose from in the stash, but I think I will go a little beyond OOB and attempt to build a Javelin AD SEV from my old Air Defence Regt....

Hi Brent,
That's a very knid offer on that. I think I have all I need from the other kit I bought with the refund.

That looks pretty cool, Don. Basically a Duster turret on a heavily modified M113 chassis, yes?

It is aXM-166. A Duster turret mated to a M-548, the cargo carrier version of the M-113. It was only a test vehicle, never went into production. Check out the video. Don M.

Going with the Trumpeter SA-2 Missile on Launcher.I think it'll look good on the shelf sitting in between my Shilka and my Sam-6.
It may be a couple of weeks before I start...haven't even gotten the kit yet. I'm putting together an order this week.

I think you'll enjoy the SA-2 build. As far as I can recall everything went together pretty well apart from some filling and sanding needed the insides of the launcher sponsons. I optomistically got the Eduard PE upgrade which IMHO is completely unnecessary unless you plan on opening the panels and super-detailing the interior of the launcher. I also found some of the larger decals for the missile to be really twitchy so I recommend extra care with those. Still, it does make a fine mate alongside my SAM-6.

Thanks for the heads-up on that Mark. The SA-2 is one of those kits I've almost bought on more than one occasion. I figured that this would be a good time to build one.
