How about some IJN AA weapons in 1/350 scale? I know some already exist in PE and turned brass, but they tend to be over-engineered, and totally impossible for my old eyes. 13 mm MG's, and 25 mm in single, double, and triple mounts would be welcome. Fine Molds made some easy-to-assemble and good-looking examples, but they're hard to find (except on eBay), and a 3D print will look even better than them.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...without having to go through the other 34 pages of this thread, I'm gonna step out there and suggest that you give the T-34, T-55, T-62 and T-72 road wheels a beat up/chipped/gouged to the rubber look, a shot!
Wouldn't it be cheaper to use resin or plastic parts and just take a sharp xacto knife or a Dremel to it? Road wheels tend to cost quite a lot.

3D Model Parts makes the single, double and triple 25mm gun in 1/700 and you could email them to ask if they can scale them up to 1/350. I can try the 13mm guns. Do you have any resources for them available?

Does anyone have any dimensions for the TA-312 field telephone?
And I realized that the LVT(A)-5 support rollers weren't showing up in the shop. This is because I needed to edit them to make them printable. They've now been edited and are being reuploaded.

Mike,
I found dimensions of 12 x 7 x 4 for the actual phone w/o the carrying case on the TA312.

So far, no work has been done in a week. But I am going back through the store to check out the model prices to see what can be done. The good news is that many models now have a lower price. All the VIC models have a significantly lower price. The Abrams M256 gun barrel has been lowered by more than half. The RIWP is now $20 cheaper and the cans/bottles sets are also now less expensive. I'll go thru as see if I can lower the price on some models further. I'll also have pictures of the Abrams gun barrel coming soon.

Thank you for the measurements, they should help greatly. I also updated the LVT roller supports and the Chameleon CREW devices to better reflect the new pricing changes. I've gotten the supports down to less than $10 and the Chameleons are down to less than $15. I sprued these parts so they are now one single part. Nearly every model in the shop has now gone down in price. Even the (very) expensive NM-116 tracks. These went from $91 down to $60. The QF 183mm L4 gun barrel was over $150 and is now just over $50. Still expensive. But now more reasonable than before. The RIwP has also gone down by nearly $16 in FXD.
The various trash cans are also now available in the Strong and Flexible and Strong and Flexible Polished materials. These provide a similar quality to Frosted Detail plastics (at least for these models) at a much lower cost. There's also a single square can in case you don't want a set of 4.
If you want to check out the 183mm gun barrel, you can do so here:

The LVT(A)5 support rollers arrived and the level of detail is achieved is amazing. There is no way I could have accomplished this with styrene or resin relying on my skills.
However, there is a slight issue. Essentially this is two sets for the port side of the LVT. The sand/mud guards are in the same place on all four pieces. To make a set for the starboard side, the guard need be positioned on the opposite side.
I attempted to portray what I mean with some rudimentary photoshop skills. The photos of the pieces are set on an LVT I am currently working but shows well how superior the detail of 3D Printed rollers are compared to the kit rendition.
Amazing detail!!

Michael, I know this is asking a lot, but is there any way you can redesign the Chameleon with a removable front? I'd like to be able to hollow out the window opening and replace it with some thin acetate.

Eric

Sorry bout that Dan. I uploaded a correction set of 2 with the starboard side rollers. I also fixed the model and reuploaded it. It's fixed now.
Eric, what do you mean? The entire front face? The area where the window on the Chameleon would go is hollow.

Cool beans! Ordered the correction as well as couple extra sets.
Would it possible to scale these down to 1/72? I can provide the wheel width/diameter to include as it would be silly to keep it separate in that small a scale (IMHO).
Also, I attempted to order the slave cable ends. However, the 1/35 option is not available from the drop down.

Sure I can scale it down. I'd need to thicken the walls and lose some detail but it can be done. And I fixed the issue with the cable ends. I had hid the 1/35 version because I had to fix something but forgot to unhide it.

Totally understand the necessary loss of detail when reducing the scale. Willing to bet it will still come out better than the detail offered on the kit’s rendering of (old style) support rollers. But as you can tell from the previous pics, the old and new rollers are significantly different and the 3D-Printed parts will be extremely helpful, even in 1/72.
I took measurements directly from the kit wheels. The wheel is 0.0705-inches wide (and centered in the brackets) and 0.1405-inches in diameter.

Finished the M-ATV radio rack. Surprisingly, Shapeways says this is mostly printable.
This is based on the Panda PE. I measured it directly off the frets.

For the return rollers, I think something is off. When I modeled the wheel it was much thinner than the space in the supports. It also looks wider than what my program is showing me.

They are tiny in 1/72 and perhaps even undersized. It appears as though the mounting brackets are molded a bit over sized in attempt to make up the difference. Although, not well/wide enough as there shouldn’t be that much “wiggle” room between the wheel and brackets.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to go ahead and guesstimate it then. Also, for some reason, there are more models that are hidden for some reason. I'm going through and unhiding them now. I've also updated the VRC-12 sets to better reflect the pricing changes. There's a set that includes the VIC-1 intercom and a set that doesn't. I am also removing the "Assorted Soda Bottles" set product number 035. It's the set with the misshapen bottles that are larger on the bottom. The M-ATV radio is also now available in case anyone wants to buy it.
Just letting you guys know, check back into the shop; there are a lot of products that have been hidden for some reason.

120mm wine bottles are done and are up on the site. It's a set of 16 assorted wine bottles. 4 each of 4 different style bottles.
And the 1/72 return roller supports are also being uploaded.
