It's available now. I just updated the model. I combined the 3 driver's vision enhancers to try to cut the cost down but I'm not yet sure if there's been much of a savings.
And now everything is fixed. Should be ready to order.

Howdy,
Don't know if it's been suggested (or if any one has already done it), but how about all the bits on the back of a Sherman turret that hold the machine gun when it's not in use? I'm always loosing or breaking those parts, it would be nice to have them available from another source.

I don't think it's been suggested yet. The barrel holder would have to be very overscale but it's doable. I'll check out a Sherman in a museum near me.

I've now just uploaded a little sculpture of a Nordic gods' hammer embedded in a pile of rocks. The 1/35 cans set has been updated to make it printable.

Michael, in another thread someone asked about the USMC chameleon anti-IED controller. I don't have references for it but I'm sure someone here would have photos. Kuba scratch-built one for his current diorama build. You should give it a look. By the way, I bought a couple of your SINCGARS sets a while back. I was giving them a good look last night. I am blown away by the detail. I didn't realise you could capture some of the tiniest detail. I am going to clean them and give them a shot of primer. I'll send you photos when I do. Amazing work.

Eric

I did more measuring from my photos of the LVT(A)5 Modified. The measurements/drawings & pics are of the support rollers that were retrofitted to LVT4s, LVT(A)4s, LVT(A)5 and LVT(A)5 Modified’s. This replaced the previous unique sized wheels with those that are of same type/size that were used as the road wheels. This would make it applicable Italeri and AFV Club kits in (1/35) and if possible, to Dragon’s 1/72 kits.
Essentially there are only four unique pieces to build up all four sets of return rollers.
Guard – x4, sits on forward section of each return roller
Stand (short) – x4, provides height of the two front return roller sets
Stand (tall) – x4, provide height of the two rear return roller sets
Leg – x8, two per roller set

I was looking into the Chameleon controller a couple of days ago but couldn't find anything. If is willing to send me his references I'll be able to and would be love to do it.

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, the pictures aren't showing.
Does anyone need a link for new models or for the shop? It's been a while since I posted it.

I’ll try just the links.
While the available material was more limiting (photos) it was still way easier than the measurements for that LS671 – not as many goofy odd shapes.

Thank you. They should help a good deal.
I've also just finished modeling 2 sets of trash cans. Each set contains 9 cans.
They are all correctly scaled to 1/35 with the square cans coming up to about elbow height on a Tamiya 1/35 WWII US soldier figure. The round cans are only slightly taller.
As it turns out... The sets are a wee bit too expensive...
Even with only 6 cans, no base and hollowed out to the thinnest walls I can make it, they are still too expensive. I'm not sure why... But I've been able to get the price down to just $25 for FUD and $37 for FXD. But unfortunately, the square set now only comes with 4 cans and no base. But at least they're the right size.

I tried ordering 1/35 Slave Cable Ends but Shapeways said they could not be printed.

Michael, Kuba posted photos and some info on his Marine Expeditionary force diorama thread of the Chameleon controller for HMMWVs and MRAPS. Hopefully they are good enough for you to use to render one.

I've updated the trash can sets and offered them in White Strong and Flexible and WSF Polished. These are much cheaper materials but should be well suited to the models. The cans are now only around $12 for 4 in WSF.
I updated the product with a new model. Should be fixed now.
Yep, I saw his post and got started on the controller. I'm a good ways in so it should only take a few days more if I'm not too busy.

Michael, is there enough info for you to be able to make the mounting base for the HMMWV along with the Chameleon controller? I also think you should do the front of the box or at least the window separate so that a clear piece of plastic can be used for the actual window part.

Eric

I'll have to check his thread for the base but I should have enough info for the controller itself except the rear. I'm also planning on leaving the front window separate.

What are the dimensions in scale? Are You sure they're good? The height is too small. Please compare:

The PDF you linked to in your thread said that the height is 5.25 inches. The height I have from the model is 3.81 mm (not including the 4 brackets on the top) which is 5.25 scale inches. I too see that it looks short which really threw me off when trying to do the front. Now you showed a picture where the rear was open. So I presume that the actual device is contained within a housing. Could the Chameleon device itself be 5.25 inches in height while the housing is larger?

Oh, I would really like it if you could make original 1/20 Sci-Fi rifles, pistols, pistols in holsters, and carbines for 1/20 Ma.K Sci-Fi figures !
Do a Google search for "1/20 Ma.K figures" and you will see a lot. Then do a Google search for "1/20 guns or weapons" and you will hardly see any. The Ma.K figures totally lack 1/20 weapons and no action figure or toy can match the scale. Those 1/20 guns that do exist come with a hand attached or part of a kit and the vendor doesn't sell spare parts (guns).
What is needed are some carbines, rifles, pistols, machine guns, rocket launchers, etc. The Ma.K style is kind of semi-futuristic Sci-Fi tech.
Here are some 1/20 gun examples. Of course yours will have to be an original design (like take your sniper rifle and convert it into a shorter carbine appearance with a different scope, Pictinny Rails, and a magazine).
Most of the 1/20 Ma.K infantry guns have magazines...the laser guns are huge.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C3LXj7SUkAEzTMp.jpg
Mercenary with laser gun...huge gun.
For these 1/20 Ma.K figures...
https://www.google.com/search?q=1/20+Ma.K+figures&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwirq5zcgrLTAhUK7YMKHTUYDD4Q_AUICCgB&biw=1536&bih=725
The 1/20 Ma.K figure fan-base is huge. 1/20 weapons could really benefit the Ma.K modelers. You'll be like the "only 1/20 Sci-Fi weapons game in town" for a while. Just don't advertise it as Ma.K though (Kow Yokoyama's Ma.K licensing) and make yours generic 1/20 Sci-Fi guns.
Please?

Mike,
Did you happen to try and get these made when you designed the SINCGARS set? It a separate mount and power amplifier for the radios that way a complete set up of two radios can be both long range.

Mike,
The 1/20 bullpup carbine I have are 3.7cm long, 2cm high from the bottom of the magazine to the top of the scope, and .2 cm thick. Barrel diameter is .5cm. Curved magazine size is .9cm tall, .4cm wide, and .15cm thick.
A rifle is 4cm long, 2cm high from the magazine to the top of the scope, and .2 to .3cm thick from the thicker buttstock to skinnier gun shaft. Barrel diameter is .2cm.
The 1/20 machine gun I have is 4.9cm long, 1.5cm tall from the bottom of the drum magazine to the top of the scope, and .2cm thick. Barrel diameter is .2cm.
That should give you an idea how large 1/20 guns are if you decide to covert your 1/35 sniper rifles into original 1/20 carbine and machine gun Sci-Fi designs, or if you want to make your own generic 1/20 Sci-Fi guns.

I can certainly attempt some. I guess a good place to start would be modifying the CheyTac model?

I started on it but I ran into some problems and a lack of good references. I've been meaning to get back to it but haven't had the chance.

I've edited the model to enlarge the housing. What's the height on your scratchbuilt one?
