Of course it would, I just purchased Italeri's last month! An M247 Sgt York would also make sence since I just bought Tamiya's 2 weeks ago!

Tiger 1 from sPzAbt 101, Normandy July 1944. With the distinctive shorn bolt on the left rear mudguard. Filling a critical hole in WW2 AFV's. . . .

Hi, James!
Not to be a "stick-in-the-mud" but AFV CLUB is doing the M60A1, -A2, and -A3; the DRAGON M60A2 hasn't received any rave reviews, while the AFV CLUB -A2 shines, EXCEPT for the overdone "cast steel effects" on the Upper Hull which, IMO, is easily fixed...
I wouldn't expect DRAGON, or even BLACK PLAGUE, (God FORBID!!!), to do an "add-on" M60A1 or -A3. The other stuff you mentioned is game, though. However, I DOUBT that DRAGON would create any kind of a "Mystery Kit AD" for ANY US, British or even Russo-Soviet vehicle, when they KNOW that the "Panzer-Heads" are drooling for yet "another Tiger"! I'm being facetious, of course...
My guess, (seriously, now), would be that DRAGON will probably do something in the WWII German genre, since they seem to do very well with that stuff.
What with their new Hetzer-based kits, it wouldn't surprise me if they launched an entirely new series of early, mid and late-production Hetzers, as they are always popular amongst the "Panzer-Heads" AND armor modellers, in general. Also, THUNDER MODEL will be releasing their "Bergehetzer" soon, so it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see DRAGON release one of their own, just as a "spoiler"...
I PERSONALLY would like to see DRAGON actually release the M3 Lee that they advertised a few years ago in their "Coming Soon" ads, but I don't think that that will EVER happen, so I'm not going to hold my breath...
It's a "cut-throat world" out there gang, and competing model companies have never been shy about under-cutting each other...
You are not raining on my parade. While I am waiting on the AFV Club M60A3 myself, I would not be surprised to see a M60A1 or M60A3 eventually come from DML for two reasons - under-cutting the competition and making the most use out of their tooling.
The "Bergehetzer" or Bergepanzer 38T would not be too surprising given that DML already has been working on some open-top Panzer 38T variants and it would give DML a chance to "steal the thunder" from Thunder Model This reason and the fact that "German sells" for DML is why I would be more willing to say that the surprise announcement will be something German instead of a modern, well Post-War, US; Soviet/Russian; or a Commonwealth model .

Of course it did. Together with the 1/16 AT-AT and a 1/35 rear echelon Death Star.

If we're going totally crazy on this, I'd LOVE to see a Pershing II or an M667 Lance in plastic; but hey, that's just me!
I doubt you'd see them from DRAGON/BLACK PLAGUE or TAMIYA- From one of the other manufacturers..? Sure, why not?

Sure, I could see DRAGON trying to under-cut AFV CLUB with an M60A1 and an -A3, but I don't think they would do it, given that their -A2 is just a, well, never mind...
Personally, I think DRAGON would be flogging a dead horse if they went ahead and did an -A1 and an -A3; they'd be MUCH further ahead financially if they rode the Pzjgr.38(t)-horses to death, like they do with their endless Tigers I & II, Panthers and Pz.IIIs- Not that they are BAD kits, but because they're so good, AND so popular...
Like I said before, I'd like to finally see that M3 Lee from DRAGON, AND AFV CLUB's M8 HMC-that-never-happened, but I'm going to shut up now, otherwise I'm going to have yet ANOTHER $#!+STORM raining down on my head!!!

I'm telling you it's this:
Dragon lost no time in licensing their T28 Super heavy for this Girls und Panzer tie-in:
Best selling model line in Japan after Gundam is Girls und Panzer.

I'm sorry to say, but you're all wrong. It's gonna be these two fellows, introducing a new scale previously unknown to the modeling community : a 1/2 "Namer" (children are NOT included in the kit).

I grew up building Bandai armor kits. Then they vanished. I thought they had gone of of business. Then when I got into anime there they were all over the place even producing their own series. They gave up military kits for robots and space battleships and never looked back.

Whatever this new "Mystery Kit" turns out to be, I'm sure that there will be modellers who will ecstatically weep for joy, with an even number of their counterparts, who will weep and gnash their teeth...
On BOTH sides of that fence, we will also have the modellers who will decry the HIGH RETAIL PRICE of this "New Entry Into the Fray", and also the "Unfairness of it all", because DRAGON didn't produce that certain kit that said modellers have been waiting for all their lives...
It doesn't matter, because DRAGON will release what THEY want to release, and that's all there is to it...

THAT'S TRUE!!! It was during the famous "Charge of the Light Brigade"!!! THOSE were "the Good Old Days!"
Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie were there alongside the KT, backs against the bar counter, making a heroic next-to-last stand fighting off Santa Anna's dwarf clown infantry as they wuz pourin' onto the beach off them Mexican Air Force triremes. Jim felt bad because he had to shoot the KT. It broke a track.

I have yet to summon the courage to ask the rangers at Civil War sites: "Where were the Confederate Tiger tanks?"
