Shaping up nicely,Robert!
I've added some details to the compressor(still lacking cylinder heads-scheduled for tomorrow):
Built the air and fuel tanks and test fitted them:
Added the 6 output pipes of the air tank-they will be refined (and each will receive a tap) later on:
ZIF-55's bottom view:

Bace, you got it well.
Is not it better to use a horizontal grid for the radiator?

Thanks Kalin,Peter!
To your question, Kalin- maybe.
My refference pictures show a plethora of thin(possibly copper) pipes, that cool the compressed air before feeding it into second stage.I realized it will not be feasible to build them(the cooler module will become too heavy with more than 30 pipes arranged in 3 zig-zagging lines) so took what I have at hand instead(PE mesh).
RB Productions offer splendid PE radiator mesh sets-I intend to buy some soon and use them in future projects,

Hopefully this is the right thread to add to .
Had this project laying around gathering dust, so thought this might be a chance to finish it.
Anywho it's a трактор С-65 СТАЛИНЕЦ @ 1/25th.Feel free to point out any shoddy work or error's etc - I don't bite and always appreciate others ideas/views .
And a few snaps of the project:

Best of luck with everyone's chosen builds, and looking forward to their progress.

Hi R.J.
It is indeed the correct thread.
Very nice work! Ambitious project you have chosen.
Any particular reason for working in 1/25th-scale?

The bolts would be too big in 1/35th?
Being Aussie, and RJ being in NZ, I could say a few cross ditch jokes, but that build is too impressive to go past.
Seriously fine work there, RJ.
This is going to a be great thread to follow (and be part of).

Glad to have you onboard R.J!
Yeah-a bit confusing with all the past discussions about setting up this Campaign spread in various threads...but now you are on the right place for participants
I like your Сталинец build very much!!!
And because I'm scratchbuilding in 1/35th scale, I think I can guess your answer to Robin's question

some stunning work... dare I show mine? would love to know how you all get it so neat & clean.... am enjoying the exercise of my skills so already thinking of the next scratch-build I can do (think there is long enough for this campaign I may get another build done)....
anyway fiddly progress on the engine deck (need to add a jack then it is done), commanders hatch and started the turret mounted machine gun... not quite accurate for the Russian standard but I am thinking a "manufactured under licence" Hungarian model (needs a lot more work of course)........

further progress on the machine gun and also added smoke launchers on the turret. Not sure if I will do the same on the other side

all,
cheers for the kind words.
Robin - 25th scale because there is a 35th kit , plus I've worked in 25th for quite some time now (mostly scratch trucks/lorries).
Peter - I'm always up for some trans-Tasman banter .
Updates to come once some visible progress can be seen.
To all other participants, keep up the good work and enjoy what you are doing

Robert, thumbs up for the scratched DShKT!
Roger-looking forward to next pictures upload!
I worked on the suspension of my ZIF-55.
Added some parts like mufler, oil radiator with piping to engine, air tank for brakes and MiniArt's ZIS-5V wheels:
Intend to make front wheels steerable

Hi guys - wow! Lots of great looking work going on here!
Angel - very nice work as always! Your compressor is sure looking great. In addition to the fine overall project, it’s nice to see that it sits level! Adding to this, you built your own arched leaf spring packs - wow! Looking good!
Robert - very nice scratch conversion! Looking forward to seeing this one finished!
Hi Roger - I must say, I don’t exactly know what you are building - But it looks great! I looked on line and found a tractor with a similar name - is this a tractor?
I have been traveling for work - found myself half way around the world from home! Haha! It would be a good place to drive my 1/24 Ford 4x4!! Very steep and rugged terrain, but, no big Ford! Just a few smaller SUVs, and of course...hot, sweaty hiking! Lol! - I did enjoy the trip and it was productive.
I’ll try and post next week - just flew home tonight, so maybe some building over the weekend. The F-350 is a pretty nice kit so aside from my heavy cutting, most of the scratch work is add on. So far the front bumper/grill guard/winch, and half doors are about done. I’m working on the roll bar, which is actually more of a mounting station and gun ring for a .50 cal HMG. So far that’s been more tedious than complicated to build but it’s coming along.
The configuration of the roll bar is a bit unusual - it looks like a lumber rack you might see in the bed of a carpenter’s truck, but lower, and equipped with a variety of welded on and bolted on cross bracing. I don’t really get why many of the braces are bolted on? Should the truck ever roll, I’d bet it would collapse - and, there’s only a single bar in/over the cab? Coming out through the dash board, and again, bolting to the rest of the roll bar - I wonder what the actual design criteria was? Maybe not a rollbar? If not, what is it for?
Cheers and keep scratching!
Nick

the work on here is another level to my bodge-it and see attitude. Anyway, turret nearing completion. Tried to replicate a canvas-type barrel cover and the IR light (including linkage to the barrel). Second set of smoke launchers on, hooks(?) added and aerial mount on the rear. Just need to complete the M/G mount and I think it is then done (may add a 2nd light infront of the commanders hatch)..

Little details like the canvas are what it is all about Robert. Coming along very nicely.
When I do canvas, I usually do a rough shape in putty smaller/thinner than what it will be. Then when that is dry, I build up the top layer for sculpting to the end shape. This gives a firm base to work on without risk of distorting when doing the details. I can then shape the top layer with toothpicks, blades, etc, and then smooth it all together with water dipped brushes.
Angel, just fantastic work as usual.

thanks - and yes i should;ve left it slightly smaller... i thought i had managed to get a fairly good shape but it is just a "lump". I will try a very thin layer on top to try to sculpt a bit better

Robert, your WHIF tank looks better and better every day!
I see the MTO(engine) cover is missing- are you changing the arrangement there?

Nick,Peter-thanks!
Robert- looks like I missed the pure logic with my question
Finally ventured into building compressor cylinder heads.
It went smoother than anticipated:
Built the air brake cylinder with rods connecting both rear wheels:
Made front wheels steerable:
And started planning the body.
