Thanks. They are all DML kits. Left to right BRDM 3, SA 9 Gaskin, and BRDM 2. All have Hussar Russian wheels. They were really all fun kits to build.

Thanks Paul! I hate to say that, but I dont even know what kind of camo is this. Now that you mentioned it, it might be winter one but on the other hand, the box artwork shows the BTR in some desert setting, and I was aiming at some very worn, dusty finish.
I've found the spare wheel today in the morning, it was in the darkest corner under my desk, among the computer cables...
Some progress on the weathering process of my entry...I'd call llast night "the paint chipping frenzy / overdose" What do you say guys?
Cheers
Pedro

Well I've finally finished my entry, with a whole day to spare too! I will probably do a little more weathering (some pin washes, esp on the interior, rust on the exhaust and a bit more dust around the running gear), but to all intents and purposes she's done and dusted - ho ho...
Paintwork is Tamiya acrylic (poorly applied with a Badger 200), Vallejo for detail work. Then a coat of Klear/Future and the Tamiya decals, followed by a second gloss coat. The decals dulled down quite well when I misted the whole model with 10% Tamiya buff, but seem too have quite a thick and noticeable carrier film. Unfortunately the buff puddled a bit on the windscreen, not sure why that happened... Overall I'm quite pleased with how she's turned out, although - as ever - the pics show up all the bloody errors I've made!
Here's a couple of snaps, more in my gallery (and will also add to the Campaign gallery in a moment). Comments and critique most welcome, thanks for looking.

Hmm... Is there any way of sealing Mig powders once they're applied? I've discovered that they disappear when you spray matt varnish over them!

Beautiful Sschwimmy! I love the color you choose on the paddle. Would you mind share your secret on what brand and color you use?

My apologies, I posted the photos of my build prior to midnight, and then after midnight, shifted the photos to an album within my gallery, therefore negating the image code needed to display the photos!
....
Here are the photos again....

Hi mr. Amphibs leader, Martinnnn
I only got a red X in a box. Does it have something to do with my (personal) settings?

well, i used the Resicast kit 35.121 for the job. It is out of production, but Graham from Resicast is thinking about doing it again. Decals are from Resicast too. I used the set 35.610 " Decals for UK Duplex Drive early ". The model is built nearly ootb. Even the load on the engine deck is contained in the kit. The only things i wasn't satisfied with were the periscopes. So i used the fantastic periscope & mount set from Tiger model design ( 353018 ) to update the driver's and co-driver's hatches. The commander's hatch was unchanged to show the difference.
I enjoyed building this kit very much.
Happy modelling

Hi Benjamin,
To answer your question, I primer the model with a flat acrylic black paint, and as far as the paddle, it's hand painted with Vallejo dark flesh (927) and then given a wash with Windsor and Newton artist water colour burnt umber.
thanks,
Frank
